It is no longer news that the present governor of Delta State, His Excellency Mr. Sheriff has crosscarpeted to the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC). His reasons are best known to Him and Him alone. But we all know it is for his selfish interest and not in the interest of his people. Also, the immediate past governor and Vice-presidential candidate for PDP in last general elections, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa has also left the PDP for APC. He alone knows why. Then again, we have Senator Ned Nwoko, husband of Nigeria's Nollywood screen goddess, Regina Daniels who decamped from the PDP to APC. He has his motives for this. We also have the Minister of aviation and former minister of state for labour and employment, Mr. Festus Keyamo who has been a member of the APC for some time now. We also have the former Deputy Senate President, Ovie OmoAgege. Who has been the Memeber of this party for some years now. The question is, who is the party leader in Delta State at this point in time?. We all know that the sitting governor of a state is the recognized leader of his party in same state. But in APC, I seem not to understand. Recall Tinubu was the party leader of APC when Buhari was in power? Meanwhile it was Buhari the president who was supposed to be the leader of the party but BAT snatched, grabbed and ran away with the Title. There is a power tussle in Delta State. Its a showdown, a battle of supremacy.

The catastrophe waiting to hit APC by the time the PDP nitwits are done defecting is learning from what PDP is currently suffering from. |

APC is well organised not like LP or PDP. The Governor is the party leader. Others will queue behind him. |

I love this drama. Soon Oborevwori will know that Okowa used his political career to sacrifice for his freedom with EFCC. If at all he will get the ticket in APC, then he should thank his star's. He has a lot lions to conquer, including the mobilizer himself, Omo Agege. 2027, will be like a Bollywood movie. |

The earlier you realize Nigerian Politicians are not for you and the country rather for themselves the better you become. As for the APC I have nothing to say on how they control their party. As a citizen our attention and support should be towards individuals not a party |

Mtcheeew I don't know what should be our concern about that. The so called lovers of Nigeria are worried about who the leader of APC in Delta is, that should be least of your worries but we're no different from the people we criticize, we only complain because the person at the top is not our person. |

JibrinAm:Gov would be struggling to take over the structure, I think he just started a battle which he himself won't know how it would end, nothing stops him to be in PDP and make sure APC is irrelevant in the state not even wen he is fully in control of his house assembly, and he has financial war chest at his disposal, now he moved to a party where there are a lot of adversaries already there to make things worse for him,......the events of next 6 months won't be palatable in Delta State. I pray thre won't be political killings any moment from now. James manager. Omo Agege. Festus Keyamo. Ned nwoko. Perhaps, it time for manager to shine. |

Haha, a group of four thieves stole 13 oranges. When they reached their hideout, they decided to share their loot. However, after each of them had collected three oranges, they couldn’t decide who would take the remaining orange. That’s how they were caught. |

1. Governor Sheriff is undisputed leader of party. 2. APC structure is under Governor Sheriff. However, Omo-Agege retains influence. Same with Keyamo. 3. Okowa is party leader emeritus. When Ibori comes in, he also becomes party leader emeritus. 4. Ned Nwoko is not leader of the party. 5. The APC canopy is large enough to accommodate all sincere interests. |

Please remove KEYAMO from that list. Dude is a paperweight politician! An opportunistic rabble rouser who can't win his polling unit. A political neophyte who rose to the position of power by praise-singing and ass licking power brokers. Who takes a brown noser like Keyamo with no grassroot support back home seriously? He's only adept at running his mouth like someone who has diarrhoea of the mouth. He has never contested and won any election in his life. The same way he never won any high profile case before becomaing SAN. He contested for Senate after the sudden demise of Hon. Akpor Pius Ewerhido, he was resoundingly defeated. All the people on that list are seasoned politicians with the machinery to win election any day any time twice on Friday. Okowa fought Ibori's electoral machinery to a standstill and won. Ned Nwoko single handedly won his senatorial election. Ovie Omo-Agege has been in politics since the days of Uduaghan, he was once the Secretary to the State Government. He single handedly raised the profile of APC in Delta state. He Won senatorial election twice and even sponsored other APC candidates. Paperweight politicians like Keyamo shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as these heavyweights. It's an insult! PS- I see Omo-Agege decamping in the coming days. |
