We the igbo people have made a stand concerning the igbanke issue. Take this word from me as the word of every igbo man out there.

Right now our stand on the igbanke issue is neutral.

We will let the ika people who they are affiliated with deal with the issue.

Igbanke people said they are not benin but they are ika igbo, ika said they are not igbo but they are benin. We as Igbos would not fight another mans war. That at the end they will join Yoruba ronu to make sure we go through hell.

So my advice to every igbo out there advocating for igbanke, allow ika people fight their battle.

There’s an orchestrated plan to fuel bigotry against us in preparation for 2027. Apc and Yoruba ronu plan is bigotry. Stop falling for their traps.

We and benin people have never had any issue until Peter obi won Edo state in 2023, since then between then and now this is the third major issue we are having in a space of less than 2years. Last year it was the Amaka ekwo issue where she said they should certain things against benin people on TikTok, next came the oba of benin issue, now this igbanke issue.

Difference between me and the rest of you is I know how to see through these things why all of you always fall trap to it.

Right now am supporting Peter Obi, but there’s signs I will see I will tell the south east to overwhelmingly support Tinubu. But until then I will keep campaigning for Peter obi.

U guys should continue to fall trap to childish gimmicks by Yoruba ronu, I go continue to laugh una.

Yoruba ronu politics is very easy to emulate but una no just too get sense to see through them

Onitsha has stronger ties with Benin Kingdom than other Igbo groups. A core Onitsha man has reservations about his “Igbo” ancestors.

Gen-Z and Co. do not understand the differences in settlers and owners.

Igbanke are settlers who integrated via intermarriage and thereby granted rights and privileges. Now they have rulers suspended- what can they do …. nothing because ancestrally … they rights and privileges where granted not inherited. Even core Edo rulers have been pulled in the Auchi region recently… nobody coughed !

Like the Red Indian vs British settlers in America. The Europeans are settlers not owners of the territories.

So you mean Yoruba people tell that goat to insult oba of Benin. Na Benin's I blame sha, when they carry obi for head, some of us from other zone in the state told them how toxic igbos are. Today we are witnessing it. dem no born any igbo to insult otaru of auchi, their people wey dey there go suffer the consequences. During campaigns, you will see igbos insulting some Benin's face to face for supporting other candidates but non of them tried that nonsense in Edo north. We don't tolerate nonsense over there. We pay you back instantly anything you do.
