‘Empowerment’ implies that the women are in need of such support. But isn’t it rather interesting that the ‘needy’ stage a walkout just because they’re not happy with the representative of the First Lady? Isn’t that an indication that they’re really not happy with that and wouldn’t be shut up by any form of ‘empowerment’. Don’t they have freedom of choice anymore? And how’s it that the ‘needy’ women are all aligned on the walkout? No one is aligned with the ‘First lady and her team’? Very interesting how this is being conveniently twisted as a Sim’s plot!

She was openly rejected in Asaba Delta state.
Now they are walking out on her in Rivers State.
Idris have told Seyi Tinubu to tell his father that the country is hard.
Why not solve the root of the problem Mr. Wike?
People are not smiling not only in River's state, but in Nigeria as a country.
If things continue like this, a time is coming they may not only walk out on them again, but people will start throwing stone's at them.

The most democratic action against the policy of any government should be civilised and non-violent. It doesn't matter whose ego is hurt. Bravo to the women who walked out on the First Lady to send the message to the autocrat in Government.

But Oluku Helanus feels any peaceful protest isn't good for those he supports and he isn't in Nigeria o but his family is in Nigeria suffering. Everytime I wonder where he keeps his thinking faculty.

If truly they were told that Sims wife would be there and indeed paraphernalia suggesting such was produced, then you can’t blame the women of Rivers for feeling aggreived. How they reacted in the circumstances I don’t condone but I can understand.

The blame is on those who told them It was a gathering with Sim’s wife if indeed that was what was sold to them.

Whichever side of the divide you fall, we must learn to be objective. Nobody is right all the time, nobody is wrong all the time. I have said this in a previous post that we are fast getting to a place where supporters of both sides are beginning to sound ridiculous.
