Always ready to defend everything. Your likes is the reason Nigeria is in bad shape cos you always try to find positive in every negative. The conditions of Nigeria made the poor girl to leave. The conditions of Nigeria is the reason why people risk there lives traveling through the desert but here you are trying to tell us there's just a tiny part of this country that is bad
He is telling you reality. When you live in those lands where these securities issues are you will understand better. Don't over exaggerate issues you hardly know the details just like the media in this country loves doing to the aim of their political payers.

If you want to disparage abroad life while glorifying Naija, at the very least, use proper facts...!

These Anti-Japa stories get more idiotic everytime I read them.

You guys should know that Japa didn't start this year...! People have been leaving Naija for abroad even before the writer of this crap was born.
We know the disparities that exist in the quality of life in UK and Nigeria this still does not mean the reality in this particular post is invalid. People work hard here too, make it in life and are comfortable. Just like those going there too need to work hard in life to make it there and live comfortably.

Stop it... Stop acting like there is terrorism in every party of Nigeria. Stop acting like everyone living in Nigeria is living in fear.

Not down playing the kidnapping and herdsmen carnage in Nigeria , people are living their normal life. Like me, I even stay in the northern part of Nigeria and I am living well and fine.

How can I be living in a mansion and have very good source of income in Nigeria, then I leave to go and stay in a one room studio apart in the UK where I will work like a slave for the rest of my life.
For the most people who want to earn a honest living in Nigeria, they will have to "work like a slave", and many still fall short. Just one hospital admission will wipe away the little change remaining and put them in huge debts.

For the rest that don't want to "work like a slave", they augment by taking bribes and doing a lot of dishonest things and even crimes, which I may not mention here. Other follow politicians and sing praises for those who drop crumbs for them, irrespective of their background and source of wealth. Even whoocup join.

Few are lucky to come from rich homes where everything is ready for them even if they work or not; with properties and huge amounts of money for them to inherit. They may not understand the struggles of the majority.

OVER 80% OF NIGERIANS DON'T EARN ANYTHING NEAR "GOOD SOURCE OF INCOME".

We can deceive ourselves with Abracadabra Statistics, but that's the Truth

Whether u like it or not, the insecurity in this country affect you directly or indirectly. If it hasn't gotten to you directly, it ll surely gets to you indirectly. It's just a matter of time.
No, you are the one reading insensitivity into it.

your made up nonsensical story makes no sense. Quoting you "How can I be living in a mansion and have very good source of income in Nigeria, then I leave to go and stay in a one room studio apart in the UK where I will work like a slave for the rest of my life " even people that started from the very scratch in the"box apartment " don't spend the rest of their lives in the box, they plan, they work hard, they excel and get good things for themselves. The fact that you have already planned to spend the rest of your life in the box apartment shows you are a real life looser. Nonsense.
You made his mansion look like a box to advance your agenda. cheesy grin cheesy

Even her confined coffin apartment, she has access to water and electricity 24/7 with the fact, tomorrow holds abundant opportunities for her succeed there. Compare that to Nigeria where the only thing on an average citizen mind is what to eat, morning, afternoon and night.

All the hustles from January to December goes to buying food. How about the crazy increase of rent.

All this shenanigans won't deter people to japa.
Nigerians are not ready to face the reality before them. You made a valid point regarding......

All the hustles from January to December goes to buying food
Have you asked why? Do you seek why? Have you ever asked why one there is increase in fuel prices they slim fit biscuits or reduce the numbers, or the reduce the size of coke plastic containers?

That box room is part of climbing the ladder, here in the UK.

I started out in a small space as a student, now in a way bigger place and cool neighbourhood with my family.

I don't work like a "slave" as I am into a skill set that pay more, for less time and that is something achieving in Nigeria, will be more struggles.
How long did it take you to break even and what's your age or age range now?

Ifeanyi will hustle save £450 per month, send £200 home to a domiciliary account in Naija thank to Tilumbu and his mumu team, exchange rate go favour Ifeanyi. Within 6 years he must have acquired a lot more than a level 14 civil servant in Naija.

The proceeds from those investment in Naija don fund his lifestyle abroad.

Nigeria's quality of public service job is no where near mine, here in London as I am in a position to compare.😎

My side hustle is 100% remote and never at risk of being kidnapped by bandits nor my farm messed by herdsmen and their herds of cattle.😎

Those farmers in the north "way sabi as e do go" should continue to enjoy their proceeds while I also enjoy mine here, in London. 😂😂😂

It's called a phase, life is in phases.
He could start with that room and later progress into something bigger, just like the write-up suggested.
If he feels like jugging,he should hit the streets.
There's hope for survival out there, unlike what we have here in Nigeria. Anyone that has opportunity should seize it ASAP.
There are opportunities in Nigeria too, for business men and service providers, brokers etc. a lot are making it here too...but some of you live in rural areas I understand... it's relative don't generalise.
