You are a çlown

You are in same country, and herdsmen are killing and you are trying to throw under the bus because it hasn't reach you

You will soon experience it
It's not as common as you are making it seem.

I don too suffer for University abeg, I refuse to suffer again in my life.

wake up calls are healthy... For those who seek to improve though..not unscrupulous people who love self deceit... That's what score cards are meant for. Score cards are meant to point out areas of default and urge u on to change or improve where necessary

Any Nigerian downplaying these things instead agitating for a change in status quo is a criminal
How many wealthy people do you see relocating, change your mentality or work till you die. An adult at 40 sharing bathrooms with strangers in a small room and who have to work more than 60hrs a week to survive is suffering, even you are in 'paradise'.

Why have all the big men in Nigeria not relocated?

Say you like abroad or were suffering had to go look for greener pastures, but not everyone is suffering in Nigeria like you did...I understand some of you came from rural areas so abroad to you is like heaven.

My brother! Thank God ooo!
Lol! If you have not travelled and experienced it, you have no reason for your expression.

It was the same discouragement when I had the first opportunity. Another opportunity came and I grabbed it.

Honestly, I regret not grabbing the first opportunity. If I wasn't discouraged by all these online nay sayers the first time, I would have gone far.

Recently, I uninstalled my TikTok because of negative contents in this relocation issue.

One thing you should have in mind is, Rome was not built in a day. Patience and persistence is the key.

I relocated from delta to Lagos 2021, it took me time to settle. Same goes to any place you are you going to relocate to.

Stop it... Stop acting like there is terrorism in every party of Nigeria. Stop acting like everyone living in Nigeria is living in fear.

Not down playing the kidnapping and herdsmen carnage in Nigeria , people are living their normal life. Like me, I even stay in the northern part of Nigeria and I am living well and fine.

How can I be living in a mansion and have very good source of income in Nigeria, then I leave to go and stay in a one room studio apart in the UK where I will work like a slave for the rest of my life.
Are you living in the mansion in Nigeria? How much do you make a month in Nigeria? How good is your source of income?

And who told you every Nigerian living abroad is living in a one room studio apartment and working like a slave?

The way you Nigerians back home talk as if every Nigerian abroad is washing the bum bum of a white man is so stupid.

An adult left Nigeria and decided to travel abroad for many reasons (like better life, better security, professional and career growth, dual citizenship etc.). But Nigerians back home will be castigating them as if na una give them the money to jakpa.

Stay in Nigeria if you want to stay and allow those that want to jakpa to jakpa in peace.

Nigeria's quality of public service job is no where near mine, here in London as I am in a position to compare.😎

My side hustle is 100% remote and never at risk of being kidnapped by bandits nor my farm messed by herdsmen and their herds of cattle.😎

Those farmers in the north "way sabi as e do go" should continue to enjoy their proceeds while I also enjoy mine here, in London. 😂😂😂
Make una dey learn to read and understand

Nigeria's quality of public service job is no where near mine, here in London as I am in a position to compare.
I am not talking about the quality of public service job. That is not my point of discussion.

My side hustle is 100% remote and never at risk of being kidnapped by bandits nor my farm messed by herdsmen and their herds of cattle.
And to you all those in public service job having a side hustle in the agricultural sector here in Nigeria are always at the risk of being kidnapped or their farms messed up by herdsmen grin cheesy grin grin

Those farmers in the north "way sabi as e do go" should continue to enjoy their proceeds while I also enjoy mine here, in London. 😂😂😂
Now you are talking. We know the perks of being in public service and the allowance of having a side job. That's the main point of my post and how it aids your stay where you are.

Believe everything you see online at your detriment , even in Nigeria is it the same cost of living in banana island with people living in ikeja , same amount she used in renting this house can get you a good 3 bed room in places like Birmingham, Sheffield, Doncaster, etc

The thing is that even those washing the bum bum of white man is the reason many of them are surviving.
Ingrates.
Diaspora remittance was what is holding most of them together.

If Ngozi decide not to send money home or sponsor anybody, just minding her business and living large, they will still rush here and scream that she is an ingrate.

how many naija people earn 500 pounds a week pls in UK
otherway:
Guy let me break it down.

That 450 pounds is just less than one week salary..
That 450 pounds will get her

1. 24 hours electricity supply

2. Brazen speed 5G Internet 24/7 month after month.

3. Available gas each month.

4. Water bills and all associated bills like the ones you pay lawma and so on and we call it council tax here.

Now if she wants a bigger place she can go to other areas in England we call outside London or somewhere outside expensive areas in England and she can get at least a studio flat.

So leave all these nonsense ignorant people post online especially the JJCs that just came in from Nigeria.

What you guys see as luxurious life style in naija is a norm for us here.

So annoying how they compare paying 500 pounds for a room per month in UK and then eating it to what they pay for a flat in naija.

Can you pay for that flat with two months salary in naija,? Yet you can easily pay 500 pounds with less than a week salary in UK.
Re: Ngọzi & Her Room In UK: Does She Have Any Regret Travelling? by Mistersolar: 6:31pm On May 03, 2025
a room in naija is 40k in ibadan here yearly, so people who earn 70k a month can cover that with less than a month salary

Anyone that suffered in any Nigeria University will be very careful in making life decision. I suffered a lot too while in the University. I can't just easily forget the suffering. I nearly commit suicide. As I am typing this, I am just crying. Assuming one has even gotten good job, one won't have complained. Despite all the suffering and reading, no job after nine years. It is just too painful.

Must you? No. You have the right to use your blood the way you want it.

over exaggerate the security situation in the country
There are so many misinformation going on and that is contributing to the exaggerated security situation in this country.

clearly see you want someone like me to shut up.
I don't stifle the freedom of people. I know how it feels like to be under people that will readily silence others just to keep their authority. Feel free to continue the conversation. In all na your point of view. You are entitled to it.

Oga were do you really stand cos I also see you have no problem with people that are killed unjustly rather you care about yourself only
Stand regarding what? If you know what goes on beyond all this kidnapping, banditry and killings you will know not all those killed were not killed unjustly. Some decided to be used as part of the wider game of politics.

So I believe you are enjoying Nigeria the way it is right?
I am trying to make use of the realities before me the best way I can not that I don't want or work towards making it better.

The picture of her room (box room) reminds me of the one I lived in when I first came to the UK. Mine was actually smaller than that. I lived there for 9 months. It was a starting point. Everyone has to start somewhere. Sometimes you have to take a few steps backwards to move forwards. I went from renting a box room to eventually being a landlord to tenants. I know how much I send to Nigeria every month for different reasons.

Do you know that diasporans in the UK remitted about $3.53 billion back to Nigeria in 2022? 2nd only after USA? Globally, about $20 billion was remitted back home by Nigerian diasporans. That same year Nigeria earned $35.7 billion form Oil & Gas. That same year Foreign Direct Investment from other sources was -$0.19 billion (negative). The highest it had ever been up till then from 2010 was $8.84 billion in 2011. Bear in mind that the FG would have spent millions of dollars on trade missions and other government sponsored junkets in order to woo investors, and also make certain tax breaks and other incentives available for FDI. Money from diasporans is money to Nigeria FOR FREE.

Nobody gives diasporans any tax breaks for investing in Nigeria, just like is given to the already rich Chinese, Arabs and westerners. Diasporans work extremely hard, run businesses, hustle in the streets etc, and gladly send these monies home for various things. No thank you for being the largest source of foreign earning into Nigeria after Oil & Gas. Instead, what I've seen in the last few years is a concerted effort to malign and de-market the idea of Nigerians moving abroad, and it's increased 10 fold in the last year.

How typical of black man to consistently shoot himself in the foot. To consistently make things worse for himself just because of pride and sentiments. Stubbornly refusing to be pragmatic. Yes, we will feed ourselves, create jobs and keep ourselves healthy by being proud, abi? Grown men, fathers, grand fathers and even great grandfathers, reasoning like children and scoring cheap political points. Indulging in meaningless bragging rights. Sad.
keep quiet una just Dey suffer and smile for yankee, slave’s always proud to serve their masters no matter the miserable condition they are kept in, how can a human being go and live in a box and still pay hundreds of pounds in the name of japa?
