U.K is so overrated!

Thank God I didn't make that mistake of "JAPAING" back then. By now, my own lamentation for pass this one. cheesy cheesy

See as house tight like my fowl cage. The stress of working round the clock nko? Followed by the characteristic don't do this, don't do that. On top wetin? Saner Climehuh

The monumental suffering that I experienced in my University days has always been my guide to any life's decision. The moment I want to undertake a venture and someone says you'll have to "suffer a few years before you find your feet". I'll immediately reject that venture. I don too suffer for University abeg, I refuse to suffer again in my life.

Nigeria is not perfect, I go dey manage am like that. Afterall, saner clime is not for everybody. cheesy cheesy

PS- Any JAPARIAN or intending JAPARIAN wey body dey pepper should avoid my mention. I get hot temper! I no dey hear e don do. I go drag you like Tiger generator. cheesy cheesy

It is not as common, stop exaggerating. States just need to empower their vigilante and forest guards. You have a slave mentality, where did you grow up from?

Uk this, UK that everyday.
It's only in Nigeria, you come out from school, get employed and start living in a mansion as a single.

Go to Japan and see their cubicles.

Dig out more stories against UK while the embassy says a diff thing.

We will never hear stories of how the same Ngozu is remitting money to family and friends every month. When you that is badmouthing her is sick, you will still beg her for hospital money.
Have never seen jealous people as Nigerians in my life. Don't know if it's caused by poverty.

Lesson for all, don't ever mingle with people beneath your level. Anything can happen.
Your last statement says a lot

This is a conversation that you should enjoy grin cheesy cheesy

Must you? No. You have the right to use your blood the way you want it.

There are so many misinformation going on and that is contributing to the exaggerated security situation in this country.

I don't stifle the freedom of people. I know how it feels like to be under people that will readily silence others just to keep their authority. Feel free to continue the conversation. In all na your point of view. You are entitled to it.

Stand regarding what? If you know what goes on beyond all this kidnapping, banditry and killings you will know not all those killed were not killed unjustly. Some decided to be used as part of the wider game of politics.

I am trying to make use of the realities before me the best way I can not that I don't want or work towards making it better.
You must be a politician cos or a lawyer cos this is the way you guys talk. I just observed you want to toy around with my brain but I must tell you the security architecture in this country is really terrible wether kidnapping or killing is politicised. A responsible government is meant to put security apparatus in check to stop misinformation if thats your argument. So which ever way you see it the government is not doing the job properly

Stop it... Stop acting like there is terrorism in every party of Nigeria. Stop acting like everyone living in Nigeria is living in fear.

Not down playing the kidnapping and herdsmen carnage in Nigeria , people are living their normal life. Like me, I even stay in the northern part of Nigeria and I am living well and fine.

How can I be living in a mansion and have very good source of income in Nigeria, then I leave to go and stay in a one room studio apart in the UK where I will work like a slave for the rest of my life.
The way some of you think is alarming.
Because it hasn't happened to you doesn't mean it is happening.

Nigeria is the way it is because of people like you.

Typical Nigerian....as long it is not affecting you, everybody can go to hell

if things continue the way it is going, e go reach you one day.

change that gutter mentality.

wake up calls are healthy... For those who seek to improve though..not unscrupulous people who love self deceit... That's what score cards are meant for. Score cards are meant to point out areas of default and urge u on to change or improve where necessary

Any Nigerian downplaying these things instead agitating for a change in status quo is a criminal
We sleep with our eyes closed. You can choose to be whatever you call yourself. You will still come and squat with family and friends. There is money here too and we are not begging. Thank you

Anyone that suffered in any Nigeria University will be very careful in making life decision. I suffered a lot too while in the University. I can't just easily forget the suffering. I nearly commit suicide. As I am typing this, I am just crying. Assuming one has even gotten good job, one won't have complained. Despite all the suffering and reading, no job after nine years. It is just too painful.
Haaaa! Nine years ke? cry cry

I hereby join my voice with yours today, may the Almighty God grant you a lucrative job soonest. By Heaven's special grace, a great job through which you'll achieve your full potential will come your way soonest. Just don't give up and keep trying.

The suffering that I passed through during my university days traumatized me for quite a long time. It was after I started my Masters Programme that those nightmares stopped. O boy! Son of Man eyes see a lot for school o. The very first job I got after graduation, I didn't give anyone a dime from my money. cheesy cheesy

Somebody come dey advise me sey make I JAPA go U.K go do Masters, I felt like killing the person. We thank God for His grace, I never regretted that decision. My brother, let's keep the hope alive, your story too will change for good. 🙏🙏

keep quiet una just Dey suffer and smile for yankee, slave’s always proud to serve their masters no matter the miserable condition they are kept in, how can a human being go and live in a box and still pay hundreds of pounds in the name of japa?
grin grin grin grin grin grin

True talk pain you eh?!

Let me just refer you to Fela lyrics circa 1978. When Nigeria was supposed to be good and "pipo wia henjoyin".

"Every day my people dey inside bus
Every day my people dey inside bus
Forty-nine sitting, ninety-nine standing
Them go pack themselves in like sardine
Them dey faint, them dey wake like cock
Them go reach house, water no dey
Them go reach bed, power no dey
Them go reach road, go-slow go come
Them go reach road, police go slap
Them go reach road, army go whip
Them go look pocket, money no dey
Them go reach work, query ready
Every day na the same thing
Every day na the same thing
Every day na the same thing
Every day na the same thing"

If you like campaign with propaganda from now till second coming of Fela. The only thing that will stop japa is good and consistent quality of life all over Nigeria. By then, even oyinbo from western Europe, North America and Australia go dey hustle to japa come 9ja. Nor be all these Chinese communist party sponsored Chinko people wein dem pack from village for China wey you dey see for Nigeria now, or war fleeing Lebanese.

Just last Sunday a friend told me how his colleague 's brother, a tiv, in Nasarawa state was shot three times and his pregnant wife kidnapped for ransom by bandits. Because you live in urban cities should not be a reason for you to trivialise the pain and horror that people in these rural areas experience.
We literally have farmers paying bandits off before they can harvest their crops

That box room is part of climbing the ladder, here in the UK.

I started out in a small space as a student, now in a way bigger place and cool neighbourhood with my family.

I don't work like a "slave" as I am into a skill set that pay more, for less time and that is something achieving in Nigeria, will be more struggles.
what type of skills sale in the UK

a room in naija is 40k in ibadan here yearly, so people who earn 70k a month can cover that with less than a month salary
And that will also cover high speed inter et, 24/7 electricity, gas...

And don't compare your face me I face you in naija with flatshare in UK

How many wealthy people do you see relocating, change your mentality or work till you die. An adult at 40 sharing bathrooms with strangers in a small room and who have to work more than 60hrs a week to survive is suffering, even you are in 'paradise'.

Why have all the big men in Nigeria not relocated?

Say you like abroad or were suffering had to go look for greener pastures, but not everyone is suffering in Nigeria like you did...I understand some of you came from rural areas so abroad to you is like heaven.
