It's been ages I watched a film like HAVOC. It's 10/10 to me.

The fighting was intense and raw.

You'll feel the beating yourself. I enjoyed it so much.

Netflix had its fingerprints on it. Shaky plot and unrealism.
But Gareth Evans worked his magic.

...That was special. Havoc is a love story to HK action flicks from the 80s and 90s.
Don't overthink it. Be entertained by maximum violence.

Personally bill Cosby isn't funny now. Yes Cosby show was lit back then and I never bothered to listen to his comedy albums so I can't say. But I wouldn't rate him highbrow a personal note.

Objectively, They can't be a "universally" accepted best comedian of all time list, as it is always going to be down to personal preference. For E.G. i have never in my life, consider Kevin Hart, funny, his whole style comes off as cringe to me, his Irresponsible Netflix special, it's perhaps the only of his set, i have liked but many people seemed to like him a whole lot

And there is a school of thought, that white comedians aren't really taken seriously because of their perceived place of privilege, and comedy is most times making jest of unfortunate situations that are mostly ingrained in black culture, that's why black comedians seemingly rank above white comedians, because 70% of their jokes comes from personal experiences. I also buy this school of thought to a certain extent, i will rather see a black comedian's stand up act, before i see 9 white comedian's set.

But no matter the list of best comedians of all time list, you draw, some regulars always appear, Katt, Pryor, Rock, Chappelle etc...these are the kings.

Personally, Dave Chappelle is my personal favourite, I saw his "For What It's Worth" (2003) stand up, and i knew he was HIM!..and absolute all timer stand up act 💥✨

Cosby is the Juan Fangio of comedy.
His exploit is eternal. Put Katt Williams in a time machine, send him to 1965, and he ain't winning the comedy Grammy six times in a row.
That's what separates legends from greats.

Hart is a flash in the pan. There was that tiny window when Hart was in Super Saiyan mode and he was levitating above the competition. Sadly, longevity is his Achilles. I too will take Katt over Hart in a list. But that Hart era was something.

Funny you mentioned Sam Morril. The 2005 to present comedy circuit has been outrageous.
Burr and Chappelle take all the oxygen out of the room, but we have C listers that'll be A listers in a different generation.
I'm a big fan of Nate Bargatze. Sebastian Maniscalco. Taylor Tomlinson (Morril's ex). They'll never make a Top 15 list, but they're a joy to listen to when they're in their element.

American Psycho (2000).......7.5/10

Christian Bale really murdered his role as a serial killer. 🤪

It was a good movie but I don't know why it felt somewhat different for me— it's probably due to my exposure with David Fincher's style of portraying serial killers. His storytelling were more personal and a deconstruction of the minds of the serial killers. Not to take anything away from director Mary Harron, Bale's character looks seemed more impersonal.

It was a very good movie tho, but I find it hard to imagine the dude getting away with such murders especially with his mannerisms and behaviour which was pretty much weird were not deemed as a character flaw and fueled suspicions of his psyche. Didn't ring any alarm bells to his friends or associates. Well, since they're focused on toxic masculinity, I guess anything goes.

Wonder how the upcoming Luca Guadagnino remake would look like.
What do I know? Finally ticked it off my bucket list.

Nice watch. Great romance drama.
Another OG ticked off the bucket list. Kate Winslet is such a beauty.

A man tries to erase the memories of his girlfriend after he finds out she erased him from hers. Along the process of the erasure, he sees memories of her he'd like to keep always and he still loves her; and then the fight to not be forgotten begins.

It's a great surrealist look into the things that really matter in a relationship. Not focus on the superficial.
Hollywood don't make movies like this no more. 🥲

This is one of my favorite films ever!. It sets out as a simple love story but nothing was simple about it at all...so multi layered, and when you piece all the randomness together,. you'd fully grasp what a great motion picture it was...

You are so right, they don't make them like this anymore...every movie is so surface level, so scared of the depth of intricacies needed to flesh out a good story.

This is Charlie Kaufman's Magnus Opus, but i hate that he is such a recluse, we should be getting a project from him, at least every year 😒

You know Marvel stuff is usually shrouded in secrecy... maybe they will announce the guy holding cap role soon...as for Loki and Ruffy maybe "scheduling issues" prevent them.
