olumaxi:Imperialist start their campaign by hiring Western Journalists to destroy the reputation of their target in Africa. . Next, they buy over the media houses of their target zone, as they have done here. Burkinabeans are proud of Traore. Colonialists will now go to fund one section of Burkinafaso and call them rebels. The rebels will war against Traore govt . But the fighters and bombers are provided by the Imperialists. They will eventually overthrow Traore and make Burkinafaso a country of destitution. |

I no know how these supposed economics dey calculate development o. They said nigeria is doing well, yet the people are hungry with an all low purchasing power. Now same say Traore's country is doing bad yet his people are feed with a better purchasing power. Make Tinubu call state of emergency on himself so a military too can take over. Nonsense and ingredient! |

FuglyGurl:Another load of rubbish. France dictated and practically forced the Burkinabes to comply with the one-sided arrangements that ensure that the country's resources only benefits the colonizer. In the alliance with Russians, it definitely not a one-sided, forced arrangement but a mutually beneficial one. So, the Nation should shut the fvck up!. |

oyichi:You don't have nobody in that country, this will be the first time I will be commenting on this Burkina Faso issue, the truth that Traore is only living on propaganda and that's all. If you truly have people there, what they will only tell you is that the country is yet to see any improvement. And for you first hand info, I have a good number of people there and the report I get from them is that thing are yet to improve. Most of them have hope though |

Christistruth02:Democratic rulers just give u an illusion that they need you at time of election....each election ends with the side that can take it by force and tell you to go to court headed by a bought judiciary.... .....at the end of the day...both Democratic rulers and military rulers are the same in Africa. .... They impose their anti-pple policy to enrich only the three arms of govt and make the pple suffer..... |

tommy589:That will be difficult to do because they have isolated themselves. Where will they import farm machineries and agro inputs from? Even neighboring ECOWAS countries may not be able to help or even trade with them for fear of sanctions by the world powers. I really hope they are not standing alone like Natasha. |

Africans don't learn! Every Marxist Dictator and Authoritarian ruler starts by preaching Afrocentrism and Anti-Imperialism. By the time they settle down, you see the worst of high handedness, brutality and day light looting. Then every instrument of democratic governance have been dismantled or customized. |

My Disquiet About Burkina Faso Hitler once said that with persistent propaganda, one could present hell as heaven and the most wretched life as paradise to a people. Traore has succeeded in using this tool of the state to court sympathies of the weak and narrow-minded. Yes , he's pretended to astute leadership, with revolutionary veneer, but it doesn't remove the blight that he's a dictator like Paul Kegame of Rwanda- they are both in bed. I do not see Traore morphing into that messiah that Africa needs. He has to deal with his domestic issues, which are masked away from the rest of the world. He also needs to curtail his excessses. This is what khaki boys or political bandits cannot do, for they are power-driven. If he's serious about his revolutionary ideas, he must first set in motion a timeline for transition to civil rule, where the rule of law, not the rule of the gun prevails. |

The Western world will always use Africans to enslave and destroy themselves like this newspaper has collected their own 'mirrors' and 'gunpowder' to do their bidding. |
