DSS1335:The result would still be the same or worse. Many in the North dislike Wike and see him as a garrulous drunk. Atiku would have lost their votes. Peter Obi would still have defected and taking his votes with him to LP, leaving PDP with even far lesser votes.. If Peter Obi had been choosen as PDP running mate maybe PDP would have had a chance. The combined votes of PDP and LP tells us all you need to know.. |

The six months emergency rule should run its course. It will be a mistake for Tinubu to do otherwise under any so-called pressure. |

Tinubu is not under any pressure, Fubara is begging, but the agreement has not been fine tuned just yet. The gov will return someday for sure, but he'll be governing the state as a near lame duck. Even if Fubara defects to the Apc, he won't be the leader of the party, Wike will. |

The guy didn't look like a serious minded Governor ,the president must be very careful in entering into any gentle man agreement with such a character. If they agreed on what to do to calm down storm in Aso Rock and he went back to be talking jargons ,I doubt if such a character can manage a position of authority very well as expected. Another brouhaha in that state may not augor well for the nation. |
