The current rate for Treasury bills ranges from around 16.5% PA to 19% PA and is basically the same for most banks.

I would suggest you make more inquiries with your bank on this.

Be aware that you don't actually need to move the funds physically; all you need to do is fill some forms and give a written instruction to your bank

would have loved to suggest Money Market Fund since they currently have higher rates.

Anyways, go through these threads:

Read pages 5 to 10 at least https://www.nairaland.com/878880/treasury-bills-nigeria

https://www.nairaland.com/1912965/mutual-funds

Still need to ask questions, or help with getting started, kindly call or whatsApp me via number on ma signature.

You need understand something here, I am not your typical nairaland person who's after collecting money from you, or asking you to join one group or the other.
I made a suggestion based on request, more questions were I asked, I pointed to a Nairaland thread, and optionally ask to call for extra questions if need be, rather than constantly waste time responding.

if I needed anything from you, I would inform you upfront.

You need not inform me of how much you intends investing. That means nothing (at least to me).

Mind you, only Calls (GSM or WhatsApp) would be entertained. WhatsApp messages are mostly for clients.
