SOUTH AFRICA; the largest clear-cut-diamond in the world, also known as the Cullinan I, or the 'great star of Africa', is owned by British Royal Family. This 530.4 carat diamond was discovered in South Africa in 1905, and was presented to King Edward VII. According to Nairametrics. It's now part of the crown jewels, specifically mounted on the sovereign sceptre.

INDIA; the Koh-i-Noor, meaning, 'mountain of light' in Persian, is a legendary diamond known for its size (105.6 carats) and the historical controversy surrounding its ownership. It was mined in India and has passed through the hands of many rulers and empires, including Mughal Emperors, Persian Shas, and the British Crown Jewels. The diamond is currently set in the crown of Queen Elizabeth the Queen mother.
