The constitution did not create a special category of superior citizens called 'human rights activists', who must not be touched by the law.

As for the arrested man, the investigation, and charges if any, should follow the due process of the law.

You also can't tell us the details of the so-called petitions and allegations that required arrest/kidnapping from a whole DSS with masks on.

Was this a treason offense, or was he trying to kill the president of the country, that DSS needed to come arrest him in a form of kidnapping?

This is looking more like the FG parole... Likely because he has started talking about the president and his son, so they needed to act before he gingers more youth into following his path.

Police all over the world exercise caution in revealing too much information, particularly at the very early stages of an investigation.

That is necessary to protect potential lines of investigation, and prevent premature disclosure of the identity of petitioners especially in the current environment where disclosing information too early can put the complainants in danger of harm from baying social media youths who insist that society must operate only on their terms.

If the man is charged to court, then inevitably, all the necessary information will be disclosed in court and become public knowledge.

EFCC may well investigate the petitions, find that the man has committed no crime, and proceed to release him.

So exercise patience.
