Why do banks try harder to cover wider spectrum of customer in different areas, even rural areas?
Why do they penetrate markets and campuses?
Have you ever come across their income statement on transactional charges levied on those 10k accounts you mentioned, in the space of 1 year?
Do you know how much transactions go on in market places on a daily basis?
Do you know the power of frequency in revenue generation?
If you’ve ever worked in any bank’s customer care department you’ll know that the easiest way to lose your job is to have an unsatisfactory feedback from a customer without regards to his account size.
Let 10 million 10k account holders ditch GTB this year and see if it won’t take a toll on their annual report.

Most of these Yoyo-milk kids scrambling for relevant on social media have not even watched the video.
I watched the video on Channels Tv this morning and what I saw was completely different from the narrative circulating on social media.
The guy wasn't even arrested inside gtbank banking hall neither was he arrested inside the perimeter fence/compound of gtbank.
He was arrested out the gtbank compound.
I guess that's why gtbank has refused to issue any statement in that regards
