Over 48 hours later, and with all the backlash, why has the efcc been unable to say anything reasonable regarding why he was arrested?

Anybody with a grasp of how the system works in Nigeria, already knows this is just another case of individuals lawlessly using security forces as private thugs for hire. EFCC has probably spent the last 48 hours desperately trying to cook up a meaningful allegation to present to the public.

VDM has been held for days without charge, yet the EFCC can't lay a finger on Yahaya Bello, Sadiya Umar Farouq, or Betta Edu despite mountains of corruption allegations. How is that justice? I see it as oppression. Silencing truth while shielding the powerful is the clearest sign that Nigeria isn’t just broken. It's bleeding

Then why is it taking them ages to compile evidence. whoever petitioned him would have presented their own evidence and preliminary investigations carried out. Even the FBI come to Nigeria to pick criminals up with substantial evidence. On reaching the USA, straight to court. Must our agencies be daft pawns?
