Dead termites or other organisms inside the mound can be used to achieve that.

Alternatively, Optically Stimulated Luminescence (OSL) Dating is the best suited for this purpose

But when same science tells them anything incredible, they will put on their thinking cap and argue it.

It's like religion has a way of shutting down a part of their brains. So they can't think logically to counter its lies. But science wakes up their brain so they can think logically only when science is involved. Chai.

But this is a consequence of our social evolution, we've evolved from a more vegetarian diet with sparse consumption of protein in form of insects and small lizards, rodents, fish to carnivorous mammals who can't even digest raw meat.

We are rather hopeless in the animal kingdom without the technology and advancements we've made, if we do meet alien races in the future we may find out we are not even as advanced as we think we are.

Yes, that's because they began with ignorance and created false stories to answer their questions. Then those who dug deeper in philosophy created science, but many are still stuck with the past ignorance of religion.

We emerge from primitive life all of us. Let's go with science, yet not being thought by each other disjointly, we emerge God or God's. You don't see a weird coincidence? If we were colonise it will be a different argument. But what are the odds that everyone society across multiple space timeline brought first God's and not science? Indeed, your observation aligns with anthropological and evolutionary biology. The human digestive system, dentition and enzymes suggest an omnivorous ancestry, one that likely began with a predominantly plant-based diet supplemented by opportunistic consumption of animal protein, first from insects and small prey, then increasingly from larger animals as the use of tools and cooperative hunting evolved.
My fear has always been that technological evolution has outpaced biological evolution in humans, creating a species heavily reliant on external tools for survival. This could be interpreted as a risky adaptive strategy,resilient in some dimensions and extremely vulnerable in others...
