I really appreciate your candid review of the batteries. Thanks so much quote author=GloryJoyeux post=135254576] Hi, These batteries are not in the same category at all, just like you put a Highlander with a premium Lexus or Mercedes SUV. If you want the guaranteed best, go with BSL Battery. Second best, but not by much, is the SRNE Battery. Those two are not in the same category as the other batteries by miles! Now, rule out Blue carbon completely! As for Entelechy, I have never heard of that brand. Taico, well, I personally won’t spend my money on it. So you basically have only two options, BSL and SRNE, especially since price is not an issue. They use good cells, are rated at their actual capacity, and are very well built. In fact, so many companies use BSL Batteries. SRNE on the other hand, is overpriced for what you get, but it still delivers. Now, people have also had complaints with all the batteries you listed above. No brand is perfect. It’s imperative that you also do your own personal research before purchasing any of it. But, please strike out blue carbon from the list.[/quote] |

Preator:Please don't stress yourself I was able to connect the 6kva Cworth inverter (Gospower inverter) to solar-assistant using the Sumry model, but the data readings are inaccurate. The solar-assistant.io CC were helpful in trying to resolve the issue, but Cworth aint willing to provide the PC software.

I also noticed that my growatt 6kva inverter using a (cworth 15kwh battery) when the battery reaches the shut off voltage/percentage of 20% and the inverter stops discharging at night.. By morning when the sun comes on and it starts charging the inverter doesn't automatically come back on and it displays error 4 My questions; Is this normal?? Isnt the inverter supposed to automatically come back on when there is sunlight and it starts charging? Is there a particular battery percentage it has to reach before it comes back on?? Someone please help! |

Guys please here me out. I've been completely off grid for a long while now. Now I connected a coulomb meter to my solar setup to see how much I consume. In 4 months I've used 880kw. That's 220kw per month. Let's do small maths: If I'm on band A charged at N206/kw that's 220x206 = N45,320 I've to pay in a month to nepa supposing I've the 24/7 electricity that my offgrid solar gives me. If I'm on band B at N65/kw that's 65x220= N14,300 Now, I've another house at Abuja that uses less electricity than this offgrid home. In fact, we put on NEPA for only 2 hours every day to carry a load of about 300wh. Yet we load electricity of 15k and barely finishes the month. In Abuja, average homes that just use light, TV, charge phones, fridge and fans (no AC) use nepa cards of over 25k in a month. Is there a configuration corruption in the way NEPA read their units or kw? Why will my offgrid solar give me a value of 14k per month with 24/7 electricity but NEPA with only 10 hours per day and some days without light, will need electricity card of about 30k to have light? What's wrong? |

Hello! I want to order solar panels from fouani. Is there a procedure to follow or its a straightforward add to cart and proceed with payment? I'm asking because i remembered some complaints of delay in processing and sending. |

I feel that review with their inverter you did.. But can we rili trust them now? Cause alot of hybrid 12v system done fall my hand lately oo.. Makes me go for serchet inverter + powmr combo ooo.. I notice their interface is diff from all this common ones from the video you did.... Will be back here monitoring sah.. ☺️ 😍 Dam5reey1: |

ask4bk:Well, be sure the house is not actually in Band A. Secondly, from experience, be sure no one is tapping your light too. |

BiigTee:Usually the inverter won't provide output until the battery charges to a certain percentage (,usually 20 to 30% SOC)..But the inverter will charge the battery via PV but will not provide any AC output voltage unless there's NEPA supply. |

omonla5:Just go and buy charge controller. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Nteogwuija(m): 2:18pm On May 06, 2025 |
So, I was able to move the solar mount from the side of the building to an open space where the building won't shade the panels. Bought another 26yrds of 4mm² to add to the 20yrds that was connected b4, making it a total of 46yrds of 4mm² from the current position to the charge controller. I got around 700w at 1PM from the 1050w. When it was beside the house, by this time I'd get around 100 to 150w. Even when the sun hadn't shaded the panel fully at around 10 to 11AM, the highest I would get was around 500w. The PowMr charge controller's limit is 720w. So if I'm getting 700w, I don't think I can complain anymore. So, apparently, the fault wasn't from CWorth's panel, neither was it from the charge controller. The panels were heavily shaded. From my experience, I could say that excessive shading can limit pv's production up to 50% and higher. |

Good day all Please is using breaker for solar input enough to protect this controller? I intend to use the normal cut out fuse after breaker, to manually remove when its about to rain. Will this idea work? Panels are in series, so maximum current input cant be higher than 15amps. Please what is the simplest way to protect the controller from damage and how have you guys using it here been able to protect it for long from damage. Thanks for your reply

| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by AndroBlaze: 4:08pm On May 06, 2025 |
Ahyjo:It depends on you and your needs. The setup referred to consists of a 10kw battery with 5kw pv support. Most of the time this is adequate for the power needs of the family 24/7, so really should be entirely off grid. However, sometimes (depending on who comes around for visits, we're always transiting) 2 inverter ACs are run from 7pm to 8am and this takes it toll especially on days where we'd also run the ACs all day and their was poor pv output. So to avoid the batteries being regularly charged by NEPA, that usually comes at night, rather than solar, the amps for NEPA were severely limited to half what we set as maximum for PV. So answering your question generally, for best longevity of a lifepo battery 0.2c (or less) is recommended. For a 200amps battery that's 40amps. So for our setup (I'm currently not around) solar was set to something like 60-80 amps while NEPA was set to 20-40 amps. Hope this helps. |
