I reason am & came to the conclusion that his high conviction rate is mostly of "yahoo yahoo" boys & the likes. He's not yet up to two years in office but how many high profile cases has the EFCC under him successfully investigated, built-up a solid case (that can lead to conviction) & then prosecute in court?

We all saw how the EFCC under his leadership made a public spectacle of the Yahaya Bello case & how it also handled the Betta Edu/Halima Shehu/Sadiya Farouk cases, Bobrisky/Cubana Chief Priest/E-money/Okoya son's matter etc. & now, the EFCC appears to be playing the unfortunate role of turning hitherto ordinary citizens, into heroes/prisoners of conscience.

EFCC Under Ola Olukoyede has left the "big fishes" to keep swimming in their ocean of corruption while it goes after fingerlings on the corruption ladder.

It's like this EFCC has outlived it's usefulness, just targeting Nigerian youths left and right and centre whereas the main people committing the real financial crimes are walking freely. Even Yahaya Belo somebody they claim to be looking for when to their office but dey couldn't arrest him.

753 duplexes actually. Again, while I admit that the EFCC under Mr. Olukoyede has notched a handful of victories in the war against corruption, their activities have been largely focused on the "small fries" and their scorecard, underwhelming.

Nonetheless, his job isn't an easy one that's for sure.

My point is that today's youth lacks depth and largely react to emotions. It turned out VDM was not arrested because of GTB, nor was he arrested inside GTB.
VDM by himself went live to announce his location and gave himself out. But the headless mobs would descend on GTB to scapegoat them.
As for this content creator he should enjoy the new fame and let's see how far.

EFCC claim they have been trying to reach him with no response, we will only confirm this from VDM when he's out but u can already see its not adding up. He wasn't aware or running from them.

The Youths online act on information received online sadly some of these information are not verified b4 posting. However aa for Gtb even the original complaint by VDM's mom sounds ridiculous and their response to it was equally not impressive.

EFCC's mode of operation and arrest leave much to be desired.

They are the things u guys won't condemn but u are only quick to condemn VDM.

With all this recent arrest by EFCC this days let wait and see if it will extend to the BIG FISH in the society .Because many a times they abuse Naira note inside their compound and still post the video after show.May be EFCC are waking up from there slumbering.May GOD bless NIGERIA and NIGERIANS.
