Well, it was an exciting run but really sad it had to end this way. The honest truth is that Inter exposed and exploited Flick's high line again and again over the 2 legs. It had been a time bomb waiting to explode for a while and Inter were the perfect detonators. Inter didn't have to do much to score us while we had to do so much to score them. Just hope the boys recover mentally for Clasico. Lamine is destined to be the teenage GOAT. 2 Likes |

I'm proud of this team. It's a painful loss cos we've played the best football we've ever played in almost a decade. This team has shown they have the winning mentality. The injuries to the team handicapped us in this. It's clear we were thoroughly lacking with two fullbacks out. Olmo coming back from injury. Lewandowski maligned by injury too. We gats find a lasting solution to our team fitness. Cos this is a similar trend in the last two seasons where injuries fvvked us up at crucial stages. |

Proud of our boy's performance. We were very close to qualifying but it wasn't meant to be. They have about 4 days to recover and go again against Real Madrid on Sunday. |
