Real wealthy men

With exact and unambigious source of wealth

Not the modern day ' wealthy' men/women with vague source of wealth

They are always tagged ' investors, influencers, businessmen, cryptorians, techy, and bla bla bla..

there is nothing like old money in Nigeria

If the wealth was not transferred to the next generation, they are not old money

Majority of the people on that list, their wealth was not transferred to the next generation

They are just one hit wonder

Men of genuine hard work.
No suspicion of blood money or corrupt government loot in their hands.
Good old days when hard work pays.
Rest in Peace to all of them.
It is NOT hardwork. They didn't work harder than everyone else. I don't know what it is but I know it is NOT hardwork

That time Nigerians never had the idea of cutting corners.
But now, before you mention 3 u don jamb one wei do badt thing to make money. And dem no go care.
that is not true.

Those guys also cut curners

many of them were lucky because they had relationship with the colonial masters

some were government employees, when the colonial masters left, they took the over some of the assets because majority of Nigerians during that time were not exposed.

Dantata is the only one that laid a solid foundation with his wealth, his heirs surpassed him.

Unlike the one whose son decided to play war instead of business.

That means most billionaires after 1960 were politicians, money launderers, drug lords, scammers and all whatnot?

When hardwork and dignity of labour was well appreciated. True riches was then through being industrous
So most Nigerians back then were lazy and undignified?

Wealth comes from knowing how to take advantage of time, place, climate and people not by hardwork.

Fraud, money ritual, corruption, etc have always been the bedrock of stupendous wealth. The foundation of such wealth is filthy.
The more you look, the less you see.

That's why we intentionally ignored the crook. He's a billionaire of the world as if he's the one that inherited Sir Louis Ojukwu's fortune. 😂 😂 Bunch of Baggage baggers

What about Jimoh Odutola, younger/older brother of Adeola Odutola. The man owns most of Iganmu industrial estate where Nigerian Breweries is located
Yes you are right! He wasn't very popular like his brother. The brother was into politics and that also helped his popularity.
