We've reportedly earned €15mn more than what was anticipated for participating in the UCL Semi final.

so with all these calculations, here's how things looks:

Player sales of about €71.5mn - €22mn budgeted target= €49.5mn. Add up the €15mn extra for Semis UCL appearance and Copa win= €65.7mn in additional income generated that wasn't budgeted for.

So basically, I don't think we're back in 1:1 despite this good margins but we're an inch closer.


But overall, whether you include the VIP seats or Nike deal or not, Barca needs around €100-115mn in additional funds to return to the coveted 1:1 rule.

I believe we're halfway through that. We just need to confirm the 475 VIP seats availability by June 30 to activate La Liga signing off on the €100mn seats sales. Which is very possible. The turf for the new stadium has been laid already.

Even if the VIP seats don't pan out in time, I believe the confirmation of the Nike deal should suffice and the great sporting season should lend a hand. There's also summer player sales to account for before June 30.
