How could I forget the Poles, the Check, etc. DICON has signed lots of agreements with them to produce military equipment.

DICON also partners with domestic Nigerian manufacturers like Innoson and Proforce.

Why not sign a deal to fight Bokoharam, ISWAP and other forms of terrorism first?

Why is it more important to partner on arms production that will end up in the hands of the terrorists?

Useless and confused Government.
This is the ultimate goal. Those terror groups you mentioned are allegedly supplied and sponsored by Western hooligans hell bent on destroying and controlling Sub Sahara mineral resources. If you noticed they almost always never get caught carrying out their nefarious evil deeds. They have the backing of sophisticated intelligence sources that plan the deeds and escape routes before the Nigerian military has a clue to what happened. Africom is one such secret organization. The British and French also have these facilities in place to cause havoc. Kudos to the linkage with China. They help build in Africa, not destroy.

Excellent development if the production facility is sited in Nigeria
Re: China And Nigeria Sign Deal To Establish Military Hardware Production Facilities by naptu2(op): 10:10am On May 08, 2025
Like I said, there have been many agreements between DICON and Chinese companies.

NORINCO is one of the most famous manufacturers of military equipment and they have sold a lot of equipment to the Nigerian military.

However, there are also some armoured vehicles that NORINCO makes that have Nigerian versions. Why do they have Nigerian versions? Because they have been made in Nigeria and modified to suit the needs of the Nigerian military.

Ignore people that are acting as if this is the first time that DICON has made equipment or this is the first time that DICON has collaborated with foreign companies or this is the first time that DICON has collaborated with the Chinese. Those people don't know anything.

This has been happening for many years and it is a well known fact.

You know, sometimes when I get to see some so called Pan Africans talk about development , I remember what Murray Bruce once said, that it takes what’s in the head to utilize what’s in the ground.
Sad truth is reality presents to us two versions of engagement in obscured forms like- giving and taking; provisioning and retrieving; propose and accept; throw and catch…
The masculine side thrusts forward to provide, the feminine side opens up to accept. Knowledge, wisdom, intelligence, ingenuity, name them. They make up the masculine side. They inspire exploration and adventures. They subtly make up the mindset of dominance. On the other hand we have rivers, valleys, mountains, wildlife, ores etc, which make up the feminine side. They’re always waiting to be utilized or exploited.
Africa is greatly blessed with the feminine features of reality. She’ll keep getting 4ckd by nations who’re on the masculine side of reality.
These nations have knowledge based institutions. They can’t brag about natural resources like Africans, but they know we’ll definitely need them just like they need us more, to utilize what we have. Africa on the other hand have consumption based institutions, designed and run by the a reckless idea that natural resources are inexhaustible and naturally managed by nature.
How can an Ifa worshipper utilize or experiment with free electrons other than striking another man dead by thunder?
We need more than just universities to break that jinx. Knowledge gap is Africa’s problem. We’ll keep getting 4ckd by anyone who’s got a clue of how to utilize what we have.
Unfortunately it’s gonna keep running this way, until the day we start having high regard for knowledge and intellectual provisions for its application, over “stomach infrastructure” and gluttony.

Should I gain courage?

I am tempted to post about deals and equipment that DICON has made, but fear of the anti-spam bot is restraining me.

There's also the fact that I can't post pictures. Back in 2013 I usually posted around 100 pictures on this type of threads.

The Ezugwu mine resistant ambush protected (MRAP) vehicle is produced by DICON. It was named after Major General Victor Ezugwu.

Most of the AK47 rifles that members of the Nigerian Armed Forces and Police use are made in Nigeria by DICON.

The OBJ-006 is a variant of the rifle that is produced by DICON.

This is not a good move.... Africans aren't ready for things like this.... With terrorism and corruption, the factory will be hijacked and the masses will be the one to bear the brunt....
Misplaced priority everywhere..common electricity, road or Agric technology, No. Na war equipment that will psyphon all our billions. Then terrorists will take over the production. We have foolish leaders with low IQ. Dealing with existing terrorists does not need experiments. Just declare it emergency and wipe them out.

As I said, DICON also collaborates with many private Nigerian manufacturers like Proforce, Innoson, Epail, etc to produce equipment (I am tempted to repeat my 2013 action and bombard this thread with equipment from the private Nigerian companies).

DICON partnered with Gray Insignia Nigeria to produce the Hawk Sniper Rifle.

This is for Nigeria and not the blessed Children of God down East.

Eastern Heartland remains Pro West for all eternity.

Eastern part of Nigeria does not support Chinese and Russian influence into Nigeria.

Russian influence should be bridged in the North aka Arewa

Chinese influence should be bridged in the Western part aka ODUDUWA

Western influence is majorly headquartered in Eastern Nigeria.

If you are an Igbo person reading this, never you forget that : WE ARE NOT ONE OR BROTHERS with those people.

Do business with them, respect them obey the laws of their land be you in Yorubaland or Hausaland or Fulaniland.

But never forget : NOTHING BINDS US WITH THEM. There is absolutely nothing like NATIONAL COHESION.

Left for me, no Igbo daughter will marry anyone outside Igboland, Efikland, Ibibio, Annang, Oron Ikwerre.

You people marrying your daughters outside these tribe are commiting an abomination.

Have you ever seen a tiger mating a leopard not to talk of an elephant? smiley

You people will learn one day. Continue polluting the Igbo DNA.

At the right time, every Igbo man will be brought home to our dear, TRUE fatherland wink I don't know why you guys are glorify illiterates (what do you mean by pro west?).
Why are you people so gullibles.

One of the reasons that I paid close attention to DICON was because of a rant of a military officer in the 1980s.

He was complaining that DICON and its Brazilian counterpart were started at the same time (1964) and that the Brazilian company was making armoured vehicles and boats, while DICON was still assemblying rifles. This was in the 1980s.

Since then I have taken note of every little progress that DICON makes and I have closely monitored their activities.

How can you put your defence technology in the hands of another nation that can sabotage you if things/negotiations go side ways. Why not put together brains among citizens from different part of the world to brainstorm on defence strategies, help develop home based technology, China did not put his defence technology in the hands of anybody when they became a new China, their citizens came together to develop the country to what it is now. Shame no dey catch una Idiots in power, all is about how much they can siphon from the deal.
