You know, sometimes when I get to see some so called Pan Africans talk about development , I remember what Murray Bruce once said, that it takes what’s in the head to utilize what’s in the ground.
Sad truth is reality presents to us two versions of engagement in obscured forms like- giving and taking; provisioning and retrieving; propose and accept; throw and catch…
The masculine side thrusts forward to provide, the feminine side opens up to accept. Knowledge, wisdom, intelligence, ingenuity, name them. They make up the masculine side. They inspire exploration and adventures. They subtly make up the mindset of dominance. On the other hand we have rivers, valleys, mountains, wildlife, ores etc, which make up the feminine side. They’re always waiting to be utilized or exploited.
Africa is greatly blessed with the feminine features of reality. She’ll keep getting 4ckd by nations who’re on the masculine side of reality.
These nations have knowledge based institutions. They can’t brag about natural resources like Africans, but they know we’ll definitely need them just like they need us more, to utilize what we have. Africa on the other hand have consumption based institutions, designed and run by the a reckless idea that natural resources are inexhaustible and naturally managed by nature.
How can an Ifa worshipper utilize or experiment with free electrons other than striking another man dead by thunder?
We need more than just universities to break that jinx. Knowledge gap is Africa’s problem. We’ll keep getting 4ckd by anyone who’s got a clue of how to utilize what we have.
Unfortunately it’s gonna keep running this way, until the day we start having high regard for knowledge and intellectual provisions for its application, over “stomach infrastructure” and gluttony.

Should I gain courage?

I am tempted to post about deals and equipment that DICON has made, but fear of the anti-spam bot is restraining me.

There's also the fact that I can't post pictures. Back in 2013 I usually posted around 100 pictures on this type of threads.

Most of the AK47 rifles that members of the Nigerian Armed Forces and Police use are made in Nigeria by DICON.

The OBJ-006 is a variant of the rifle that is produced by DICON.

One of the reasons that I paid close attention to DICON was because of a rant of a military officer in the 1980s.

He was complaining that DICON and its Brazilian counterpart were started at the same time (1964) and that the Brazilian company was making armoured vehicles and boats, while DICON was still assemblying rifles. This was in the 1980s.

Since then I have taken note of every little progress that DICON makes and I have closely monitored their activities.
