popizaino:Valdes was an average keeper that Messi and other great players carried to win laurels. He got exposed when he came to Man UTD and was deservedly demoted to U21 team. He later got Middlesbrough relegated to the Championship. Onana too, would have looked good in that Barca team of those years. |

It's so funny reading comments from timbros and BlueRayDick trying to gaslight readers on their initial premises on the defence and attack debates. There is nothing balance about the inter-Milan teams at least not according to your initial premises or have you forgotten how it all started? It all started when my team Chelsea started throwing away two goals lead and inspite of that i and airmark tries to fault our attack for not converting their clear cut chances. What did we get in response to this was how we shouldn't blame our attack but blame our porous defence who allowed two goals to slip through their nets, also sighting examples of how a defensively great teams like inter Milan and your team with impenetrable defence of Saliba and Gabriel would defend a single goal lead talkmore of two. Now those theories of yours has been rubbished by both your team and inter-Milan has they have thrown a two goals lead and you are coming to talk about balance. Where was this balance when you were telling us a good defence like inter-milan and Arsenal need just a single goal from their attack to see a match through? ![]() Balance injure both of you there. |

These are the comments that started the discussion last year January. You can all see the argument was about improving our defensive play just like how our attack improved when compared to the previous season and striking a balance. Popi is trying to gaslight newbies into thinking that was never part of the discussion. https://www.nairaland.com/920248/official-chelsea-fan-thread-champions/18599 Kimbeast: Kimbeast: timbros: BlueRayDick: |

Kimbeast:Unlike you a stats and livescore merchant, I watched the game. The only difficult save you can credit to raya was the very awful penda vitinha took. Donna on the other hand, made 3 world class saves One saka top corner Odegaards powerful shot from the edge of the box Then martinelli's close tap in from the goalies area. Stop misleading people here please

zeez7:All football analysis website from Sofascore to fotmob and Whoscored gave Raya an higher rating than Donna. Raya prevented more goals, made more saves from inside the box. All relevant stats points to Raya making more difficult saves but whatever floats your boat its cool.

popizaino:Take it from me, no president is fixing our power sector in a term or two. Its issues are multifaceted and requires decades of strategic planning and investment. The epileptic nature of our power supply is foremost but not all due to our dilapidated grid structure. In practical, currently, it can't support more than 5000MW. That is no matter what we generate, we can't transmit above 5000MW. The grid infrastructure is archaic, there's a reason why light goes off for majority of the times when there's an heavy downpour as against what is obtainable in other countries with advanced power systems. Additionally, the sector is capital intensive, you can research off-the-shelf cost of a 100MW alternator, a 100MVA transformer. Following up on that, there's no return of investment; our energy is subsidized because Nigerians can't pay for electricity, for a fact 50% of our electricity is lost to theft. That is why we now have misconceptions like Band A.. Band Z — all in attempt by the government to give power to those that can afford it. In all of these, what can a president for 8 years do anything about? |
