Szczesny tried but I think the problem was that short bout of retirement affected him a little and he's also quite old and heavy reason why we're offering him a long term extension, inter and psg are not only here thanks to their manager but the performances of their goalies across both legs, we need a UCL level keeper to bail us out in hard times like courtois who I believe is the most clutch GK in the last few years of the competition

I'm really proud of this team and what we've achieved so far. Now, we're contenders in Europe and taken seriously.

We've been knocking the door to that UCL glory with recent performances. Last season in the quarters where it seemed a easier part to glory. And now in semis where it looked we'll dominate in a final match. One thing with football is consistency. In a few years when you see a team dominating everything, you'll think they just came up and forgot the build up to such success.

Spain did it and doing it presently, again. Argentina did it recently. Numerous Copa final heartbreaks and World Cup loss. Now, they seem the undisputed dominant team in the world. It's a process. It can be slow. It can be fast. Argentina's present dominance didn't come in a few years but a decade in the making.
It just timing......with the right coach and the right players. A bit of luck and you're where you want to be.

Inter and PSG have featured in Finals recently.

We've had a fairytale season and that's what many Culers are forgetting. Truthfully no one thought we'd go this far especially with Xavi's damning comments about this team competency. Now, it's clear this is a winning team with the right winning and never-say-die mentality. Just a few tweaks and glory beckons.

If we win La Liga and do the domestic treble, it's an excellent season. The only pain is we could have easily been in the finals and was just a matter of seconds to end our UCL decade long drought. I believe it's because it's been long we've won it that's why the pain hurts more especially with the advantages we had. If we won it 3 yrs ago or so, I don think Culers would mind much especially with the way we played.

We go harder next season. Now it's up to Laporta, Deco and Flick to make additions, introductions and tweaks to this team. At least, this upcoming season there would be very limited restrictions to our financial activity.

A team most people felt will struggle hard with Madrid and rival fans taunting them with Mbape and Europe be scared, couldn't sign any player except injury prone Olomo, three 17 year old (Bernal, Curbasi and Yamal) in the first team, other B team players like Casado and average players like Fort and Lord Martin. I remember Donstan saying they won't exist in a year or two and will be going the way of Ac Milan yet they won the league two years ago.

Since Alex Valle is still our player he MUST be brought back as Balde's sub. Some even think he's also as good as a starter. Free up funds to reinforce in other positions like GK, LW and ST.
We can keep using Garcia as RB if we can't get a loaned or free transfer.

Get Jonathan Tah on a free. Boot out Araujo. Get Jonathan David on a free since it's unlikely we'll be getting a top striker. And then retire Lewandowski the season after.
