They have distorted the real message as usual the man of God just encouraged using of salt as it were against the narrative of the globalist agenda discouraging salt intake.

You should attack the message and not the MOG

Is what he said about Africa being complied to buy sodium based medication true or false,
Beside the medication, they will still had to eat foods that contain salts, and that's like double intake already
Too much intake of salt can trigger some illnesses that can cause untimely death, therefore eat salt in moderation. But Oyakhilome believes the message that people all over the world(not just Africans) should limit salt intake is to manipulate AFRICANS to buy sodium based medication. Classic conspiracy theory(which oyakhilome is known for) and "victim mentality syndrome" on display here
Meanwhile nobody dey compel anybody to buy sodium based medication, anyone that feels compelled or manipulated can decide to drink his own garri and tea with 3 cups of salt, put salt in his eba and pounded yam so he can get his own needed sodium from salt.
There's sodium in cornflakes, cheese, milk, butter, there's over 4g of sodium in 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 slice of white bread contains about 150mg of sodium(just 1 slice). Now they are telling you limit your salt intake to 1teaspoon per day, U say dem wan sell u sodium based meds. Yoruba people will say "wóń gba òrómodìye lówó àşá, e dey do stubborn stubborn"

A blind people lead by a blind government. Salt is good for your body but the medical people not Nigeria doctors o, do not want you to know so that every little ailment you will rush to chemist or pharmacy to patronize their medicines. When I was a kid, I can recall when I have a stomach upset my mum will put some quantities of salt in water and gave me to drink and this will naturally bring healing. The fact is, what medicine is as powerful as salt? I almost stopped adding salt to my meals because of medical advice from the so called doctors who only went to school to study dead men/out dated theories with no proven research of theira to back it up. God's servant Pastor Chris Oyakhilomy DSC DSC DD has nothing to loose if you hide to his advice/revelation or not. He only takes the risk that men of God like Elisha used to take in the old testament in warning kings and people's against some enemy agenda. Pastor Chris has said it countless times that COVID-19 and COVID vaccines were an evil targeted at reducing (majorly) blacks/Asians and today this proves to be true as those that brought COVID are facing trials in the United States. Terrorism sponsorship in Nigeria and other part of Africa is now known to have been bankrolled by the same organization that we all give cheers for their humanitarian services not knowing they are the ones behind millions of lives lost daily. Our children are dieing from getting immunization. You think it gives the pastor joy at being the one to reveal the hidden agendas of the deep states? Last year one of his churches was burnt down while they were having a major program elsewhere and you think no one/nothing was behind this? Go back and review the message that contains this salt thing. He didn't advise that you eat salt as food, but rather that taking salt is good for your health as against some medical doctors telling you not to keep salt out of your menu. Salt is like air. It is natural. It is the oldest seasoning for cooking. It comes from nature, it has no age or geographical location. Our ancestors used to eat salt and live longer before the coming of all this packaged seasonings with their different defects. You cannot replace nature (salt) with science (man made).
Nature is older than science. Science is simply studying nature but still cannot know it in full. Doctors/scientist are most often limited in knowledge because God cannot reveal to them since they so trust in what they were thought/told in school. Add the right amount of salt to your meal. Add/eat garlic, ginger and anything that nature birth in the right quality. Stop arguing with the truth that will save you. Nairaland was not meant for careless arguments/trolling people but vital contributions....

You might want to read that msg again, and see what the ministry Said, besides there is salt in almost all food we consumed, same as sugar,

In a practical aspect, you will not see the west consuming salty foods much, buh, can you say same for rice, semo, Eba, Fufu and the rest,
Mind you they contain certain amount of salt

I read it and I understood it.
Oyakhilome said: they are discouraging Africans from consuming salt because they want Africans to buy sodium based medication. Essentially he is saying if you listen to the message of limiting salt intake, u will have sodium deficiency, and you will now need to buy sodium meds.
Ministry said: salt in itself is not bad as it contains sodium which the human body needs but it should be taken in moderation and a person should target 5g intake per day.

Is there another part of the gist I missed

This man again? He still hasn't rested after his too many misinformation and gaffes on covid-19. My most fear about these people, is the high number of people who will believe whatever they say. We can be sure, after listening to his lies, some people will buy bags of salt and take it in excess, because their Pastor told them to do so.
Hahahahah please

Funny enough, i'm sure there are some health experts and certified health professionals present in his congregation when he was spewing this health trash...
Don't be surprised that instead of calling their MOG to order, they will be keying in to his mischievous and misleading preachings

Religion don finish us in this part of the world.Chai!

We are being lied to about salt intake, if by now,as an African sane person has not started to check every word the whites have told us, then you need to check yourself because you are a slave mentally.
Just take this one thing out of many lies we are being told about salt: Why is IV Drip (Intravenous Fluids) given to a sick person who can't take in foods most times due to the nature of their sickness ? And do you know that the primary content of the IV Drip is Sodium Chloride?

Almost everything the west tells us to be right are far from the truth and most times it's the opposite

Who here has read any medical journal or can quote with reference any medical research that says salt is bad, it's the way we are all boldly re-echoing information from the oyinbos without any personal research or proof. Is this not how you were colonized in the first place.
Why can't the ministry of health quote the research that shows salt is bad. And why is it almost every sickness first thing u are giving is salt water (drip) even ORS has salt.
You ignore cheap salt and pay multiple times for drip... continue
Someone advices you look into it, you say no, oyinbo is always right... continue, isnt thta how u were colonized
You say its a lie that 5G is not dangerous, but your grandfather was lasting 1hr, u cant even last 2 mins, only old people had cancer long ago, now young people have it
if i ask u whats the body that regulates 5G in the US, you cant tell but you know its safe bcs MTN and Airtel said so
