I spend 40k monthly on electricity only. Though I was the one who pump water for the whole 7 flats… we pump 4k liter 3x in a week

Guy. There are apps on Android phones for this that you can input your inflow & expenses & download on excel sheet, no need writing with pen and book. You can access it anywhere, anytime so far you have a browsing phone or computer with internet access. It's how I track my expenses. It's way more convenient. Just a suggestion.

My question has always been: why are they charging Band A customers way more than the others? It doesn't make sense at all.

If the country wants vastly improved power supply, its citizens must be ready to pay cost reflective rates for it.

We may not like it but that's what is needed. The FG owing Genco's 4tr is because power is heavily subsidized. I think it is only Band A that is cost reflective.

It is still expensive considering the minimum wage and what is paid in other countries.

I on AC for only 5mins and put it off when the room is cold, I do this like 7-10 times a day.

I put of everything when I leave house in the morning and put them back on in the evening.
I don't see how I should be spending 20k on light bill, it doesn't make sense

No na you should spend #100 per month on electricity.

Nigerians have been spoilt by petrodollar that gave us subsidized life. We need light and we are ready to pay. Now you have light but to pay you are complaining.

It's if I am not making progress at all,just this first quarter of the year,I expended about #5,996,000. When I checked my expense book,it was like a dream honestly.

But sincerely speaking,If i had depended on my salary,I would have ran mad.

I am just wondering if those that are not working are feeling the heat of this administration,cos they seem not to be complaining like us.

My rent per month for a two bedroom apartment in Abuja here is #208,300. For a year it's #2,500,000.

We just need to ensure we increase wages so people can afford basic things like electricity.

Affordability is the main problem here. If we can have massive jobs and increased wages, then it will be easier for the populace to afford things.
