Here in Africa, government officials will steal money ment for the mass for generations yet to come. They send their children abroad to study and still won't allow them to work there. They will bring them back only to stole job opportunities for the mass for their children. All of them have fixed their children in all the sectors in life.
Look at Zambia, all the drugs provided by USAID free of charge are being sold in the market. Who will save Africa? This is the only reason I will hold Obi at high esteem. His children are not dragging work with the mass. The worst is giving them job without due process.

It has nothing to do with race.
Some black people did not have such money but have given their lives and freedom for humanity.
But BIG Kudos to B. Gates for being a blessing to humanity.

Getting the gates foundation to sponsor a health programme in Nigeria is too bureaucratic.

When you apply, they expect you to go through those corrupt civil servants in ministry of health and health agencies in Nigeria. This totally frustrates the aim of the program, no matter how laudable your goals and objectives are..

Find a way to support health initiatives without going through government bureaucracies if you really want to help..

It's easier to use that money and solve the problems in a city. 1 city.

But let's look at it this way.
The money belongs to him and he decides what to do with it.
1. He pledged 99% of his wealth meaning he still has 1% which will be over $1billion and he will be 90 years by that 2045 that's even if he will still be alive.
How many people currently worth over $1billion all over the world? And at 90+, it is more than enough for a lifetime. Whereas he has lived a moderate lifestyle over the years.

2. The children will do just fine with what they currently have and with the +$1billion he will leave for them.

It's not about money and heaven... This man has two children and a finance.. ND cousins, nephews and all... Giving even 40billion to charity is a big deal...

It's not exactly true. Do you know how much people have benefitted from sch gestures especially people in rural rural communities? You in the city with higher earning power cry about rising cost of drugs and health care; just imagine cost of child delivery alone. The. How much more people in rural places. If not for gestures like this, they won't have access to health care. I have been privileged to work with health care based NGOs to rural communities, mehn. You wouldn't want to imagine.

So many vaccines been pushed out from different primary health care recently, and when you ask for the purpose of such vaccines, you wont get a good or clear answer.

Delivery is just one part the child still grows up in poverty. Charity is not the way to go cos it will never be sustainable. Africans should be pressured to d i e or get moving
