Airmark knows exactly what a balanced team looks like but he never want to admit our defence has the major issue. He wants people like you to believe that anyone who argues against him is completely on the opposite side. Since he is pro attack 100 percent, anyone who has a different opinion is 100 percent pro defence. Does that make sense?

Statistics proved that our attack from last season massively improved from 2 seasons ago. But the defence from 2 seasons ago became more worst last season... So where does the major problem lie? An improved attack or a defence getting worst?

If I ask you for proof is speaking from both side of my mouth now, you will start running from pillar to post.

Think for yourself. Use your own brain. Stop allowing people do your thinking for you.

In this day and age of VAR giving out penalties wotowoto, unlimited injury time to account for time wasting etc, conditions favour attack than defence. Days of 1-0 matches are over. Chances are if you base your team on defence like Chelsea of 2005, you will drop more points on average. Playing in your own box now is an invitation to VAR to award penalties against you and invitation to opposition attackers to look for initiate contact and go down

Yes we can improve on defence, but I bet if our attackers had been finishing their chances early, allowing us to control the game and simultaneously demotivating our opponents, our goals conceded record would be better. Instead what is happening is we fail to score, opponents ginger, score against us some time in 2nd half, then we overextend ourself while chasing equaliser and concede a 2nd goal. All those could have been avoided if our attackers put us in control in the first half by finishing their chances.

I've been here since the beginning of the defence vs attack brouhaha. Your major stance has always been to upgrade the defenders. Only when the attack fvcks up too much you tilt towards a balance team. Even airmark sometimes agree with a balance team but his major stance is upgrading the attack.


So make nobody change mouth.

This is not true. It's not as clear-cut as pro-defence v pro-attack.

I for one was always pro-balance, across all departments. Ibime for instance has always been pro-midfield, which is the fulcrum for the balance we all crave.

I, like you, saw the whole debate, and I can tell you that from what I learnt from Timbros, Kimbeast et al.....there's not a single person that was not pro-attack. You just had people who feel stronger about other departments.
