None of them is truly smart...!

Seeing a Yahoo boy that understands the concept of maintaining appearances and keeping a low profile is almost impossible.

That's why I don't rate their intelligence... Which says a lot about the IQ of those they scam.

SMH!!!

Cyber crime a.k.a 'yahoo-yahoo' has come to stay since it provides a a surviving pivot for younger Nigerians, some as low as 15 years old. We have lost it totally as a nation. The values we grew up to know in the 80's and 90's have all been eroded by this generation whose quests for wealth without enterprise have no close rivals.

Why it may not end soon! The few paraded here are perhaps the unfortunate ones who have no one to speak for them. The real thick ones have become a regular means of survival to the unsrupuolous law enforcement agents. As such, this illegal trade will have no ending date in sight. Parents also have their share of the blame as some of them now see the illegal perks as a means of survival for the family. Who will end this societal menace when all stakeholders are also the culprits?

The law enforcement agencies should learn to exert same energy on yahoo boys to those politicians stealing the common wealth of Nigeria.

See small small boys doing nonsense, the so-called leaders of tomorrow

They will defraud innocent people and spend all the money on girls, our young girls should stop dating yahoo boys, infact government should jail all of them together, we need to sanitize this country from every angle
Which govt??
The one whose leader was involved in fraud and forfeited money upon indictment in Chicago, and currently doing everything possible via FBI to stop the release of the data linking him to the crime huh

Hmmm ...one was charged for helping to create profile pictures . This one is beyond me. Is this why the EFCC was created?...or there is no more grafting and kick backs and thefts in government agencies?

Harddiskng:
Omo i am worried for this nation.

As much as yahoo is a crime deserving of jail time, the way we are recklessly discarding our youths is worrisome sad

Nigeria has become a society that children have nobody to look-up. I know the influence of a family member of mine doing well in the corporate world on my education & career choice.

Nowadays you would be shocked children in some parts have never seen an Engineer talk less of a Pilot

God help us
You're very correct!

Instead of the government to deliberately set-up program or construct manufacturing industries across all states then privatize them with priority to employ the youth , but they're busy with politics and sharing money and the youths are aware.

All these arrest wouldn't stop the activities, the only thing that can help is for government to come up with ideas that can get the youth engaged.

The way I'm seeing this issue if government didn't do something to engage the youths it maybe another case of arm rubber who is going to steal and equipped himself so that he can defend himself in case anyone tried to apprehend him, this I have seen

Just my little advice!

The federal government needs to take urgent action and clamp down seriously on these Yahoo boys. They are not only tarnishing Nigeria’s image but also causing serious economic problems for the downtrodden.

Imagine someone paying N30,000 for an item that isn’t worth more than N10,000, just because the foolish individual wants to display opulence—thereby creating a serious problem for those who want the same item but can’t afford N30,000. Anyone paying attention will notice this annoying display of financial recklessness everywhere—eateries, supermarkets, regular markets, etc.

These foolish Yahoo boys—most of whom are illiterate—are major contributors to the rising inflation in the country. I only pity those who are not financially buoyant enough to compete in the same market with these Yahoo boys, yet are always the quickest to defend their nefarious activities.
