I understand your admiration for Russia or the USSR but please don't distort history. The Russians were on a revenge mission to Germany but Nazism was bigger than Germany, not to even talk about the fact that despite their high numbers, the got their asses kicked by Germany before help from the west started boosting them up, or why do you think they had so much casualties. They are resilient though, I give them that, but don't make it seem like they liberated Italy, France, Netherlands etc or they conducted the largest invasion in the history of warfare or that they defeated 85% of Nazis.

But kudos to them. V-E day is usually on the 8th, Russia does theirs on the 9th👏🏿
