In relative terns, the LP has contributed highest GDP of defections to the APC.

Yes, the PDP is imploding mostly in the SS but if you consider the size of the PDP to LP and number of elected positions they hold and how many of their members are defecting to the APC, you will see that the LP has contributed the highest quota per GDP to the APC.

In a nutshell, the LP is collapsing fast and it's not limited to the kind of loss PDP is suffering from just one geopolitical zone which is the SS but LP's contraction is happening in the SS, SE , NC and NW.

The SW which is were LP had a stronghold before IPOB hijacked the party won't vote for Obi after how their candidates in places like Lagos were voted out in place of an ibo candidate. Even the Yoruba candidates outside Lagos never got Obi's support during their campaigns. Obi never mingled with any of the LP candidates from outside the SE during the campaigns .

Obi is even on record telling Wike as then governor to help him rig LP for the presidential elections in exchange of having the gubernatorial seat. Obi openly sold the LP Rivers gubernatorial candidate for his own.

The myopic and greedy foolishess of obi does not have a spare anywhere in the universe

Now imagine Obi campaigned vigorously for the Rivers LP candidates and that candidate had won, obi will have Rivers going forward in 2027. But his linear petty trade mentality can not afford Obi to see beyond his immediate profiting .

As per the SW, the LP has always been their party. The first governor elected under the LP was Mimiko of Ondo state.

LP had never had any presence in the SE until it was hijacked by IPOB.

Obi sold his own party candidate for government of Rivers for his own presidential candidacy .
