President Donald Trump said the United States had brokered a ceasefire between India and Pakistan, which was also confirmed by the nuclear-armed South Asian neighbors.

“After a long night of talks mediated by the United States, I am pleased to announce that India and Pakistan have agreed to a FULL AND IMMEDIATE CEASEFIRE,” Trump said in a post on his Truthsocial.com platform.

“Congratulations to both Countries on using Common Sense and Great Intelligence. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

Indian External Affairs Minister confirmed the deal in a twitter.com post.

“India and Pakistan have today worked out an understanding on stoppage of firing and military action,” he said.

Iranian and Chinese officials be flexing muscles on diplomacy trying to show the world that dey wielded diplomatic power over both countries, but yet couldn't do anything. The most annoying one for me is the UK whome almost everyone was looking unto to help calm the situation but were as good as the Chinese and Iranian officials...... most of you might not like the US but trust me dey are indeed a global/super power and de world needs dem.

Its funny how so many people hate this Trump, if Biden had taken this approach when the Russia -Ukraine war was brewing this would never have happened.

Nobody ‘brokered’ it.

The two parties realised it was getting out of hand, a meeting was held, and a ceasefire agreed.

They are not children, and certainly do not need an air head like Trump to ‘broker peace’.
