The fakes website also has a glowing blue tab that says “Earn Cash”.

This is a tactic known as engagement bait. The more applicants engages with the posts on the website, either by liking, sharing, commenting or clicking on the attached website, the greater the page rank of the website, in addition to this an applicant's sensitive informations such as bank details are also exposed to fraudsters.
On clicking on the malicious website it directs applicants to the weblink www.ohcsf.gov.ng which is the official website of the office of the head of the Civil Service Federation, or OHCSF which is not the same as the federal civil service commission recruitment portal although both websites look similar.

On checking to see if the OHCSF website had released a list of federal civil service commission shortlisted candidates, there was no list available.
Applicants should please note that whenever the Federal Civil Service Commission compiles the list of federal civil service commission shortlisted candidates, all applicants will be notified through the federal civil service commission recruitment portal.
