Eboofa:Look at the level of vandalization by iron condemn and anambra govt is doing nothing. Very soon those abokis will go from stealing iron to serving as informants for armed robbers and kidnappers. They should ban the practice of people wandering around looking for scrap immediately and only license dumps with full documentation of all material bought and sold. |

abuzz33:HOW CAN WE GET RAILWAY WITH THIS LEVEL OF MADNESS? AT FIRST I THOUGHT IT WAS IGBOS. |

Stolen:sometimes it takes a "mad person " to deal with ndiOnitsha.........Soludo is too demure for some of us o! Using iron for work like this is a no no for me! They should have used precast concrete fencing.......... |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by abuzz33: 4:32am On Apr 20, 2025 |
Eboofa:This is not ndi Onitsha but the handiwork of all those abokis pushing cart all over Anambra. That roundabout stood unvandalized for years before those northern vandals landed with their criminal behavior. All the manholes stolen in Awka laid since the 1980s na dem. St Patrick Church fence rails na dem. Go see what they did to Abuja manholes. Its not poverty that is their problem but criminality. You can't trace them because they have no fixed address. Most of their identity is fake. The practice should be stopped immediately. It is a massive security risk harboring people prowling every nook and cranny of our cities. |

NSCDC arrests suspected vandal in Anambra 6th March 2025 By Ikenna Obianeri The Nigeria Security and Defence Corps, Anambra State Command, has arrested a suspect for vandalising public utilities and private properties in the state. The NSCDC State Commandant, Maku Olatunde, while speaking on Wednesday at the command’s headquarters in Awka, the state capital, while parading the suspect arrested by the command in collaboration with vigilante operatives of Onitsha South LGA, issued a stern warning to iron scavengers, also known as “ndi akpakara” or “iron kwandem”. Olatunde warned them to cease destroying public and private properties in the state or face severe legal consequences, adding that the suspect was arrested on Tuesday. He said, “On March 4, 2025, at about 17:45hrs, one Zakari Yahui, male, aged 25 from Misau town, Misau Local Government Area of Bauchi State, was apprehended at Silas Street, Fegge Onitsha. “He was caught destroying and breaking the walls of the gutter, pulling out the iron rods, with an intent to sell them as scrap. “The suspect confessed to the crime admitting to vandalism of multiple metal objects and selling them in separate transactions to a scrap vendor.” Meanwhile, the state commandant has ordered the Intelligence/ Investigation Department to conduct further investigations, upon conclusion, the suspect would be charged to court. The NSCDC State helmsman said the command will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that those involved in the destruction of public utilities, private properties and vandalism of critical national state, and local government assets are brought to justice, while their collaborators, those buying or selling vandalized materials, would not be spared. “The Command is out to stop the activities of those who want to sabotage and destroy properties belonging to either government or individuals,” he added. |

ANSMEDIA:roofing sheet! The Ekwueme square turned far, far better than I feared it would! A near-perfect renovation ....the only question mark is the decision to fold and cover the edges of the roof of the presidential dais or pavilion with the same green long-span roofing sheet! Anybody who has worked with long-span sheets knows it is not an easy material to work with. Aside from its severe industrial appearance, it never gives you a perfect finish unless you are using it for straight and angular line designs. Once you enter curvy designs, it begins to look tardy and tacky! Make I no critique too much...that will be mean-spirited! kudos to soludo! |

Who knows about the new ogbo rod market in Umunya. Have they finished building it? Are they selling it now? How much? |

Please they should stop painting medians....somebody should hold the commissioner of "white and black paint'' before he strikes again on the new road leading to the Anambra State government house! just saying.......... |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEGKDpbt7t0 It is unbelievable the amount of work that has been put into this project to bring it to this standard! I must congratulate Soludo for taking on this challenging task and winning! It is a plus for him and his team! aside a few tinkering here and there, I score him and A+ on this one! whatever task left is for the commissioner of works to deal with, I suggest he looks into providing traffic lights at the junctions of the dual carriage into government house...another suggestion is that he establishes a horticultural and greenworks department as an agency under his ministry........he can liaise with the environment and agric ministries to kick of the agency, it is near sacrilege for anambra to truck tree saplings from northern or western parts of the country for our projects..............unemployed youths from okpoko can be trained and equipped to raise, plant and care for all our trees and lawns! |

Showcasing The Acropolis, Okija. I'm really impressed with what the OBIJACKSON grp put up here. The resort exudes class, serenity and pays attention to detail as we've come to expect from anything Ernest Azudialu puts his hands to. The resort includes a golf course, serviced apartments with soft comfy beds, tennis courts, two events centres, a security post, and much more. If there's anything i would have added, it would be more trees especially along the roads. But i guess since the resort new, the trees are still in their infancy and so we should give them time to grow....that's if they've been planted in the first place. I don't think the resort has been given enough publicity. Its presence in Okija would compliment the states airport, provide much needed employment for the youth, and help boolster the states economy. So the state gov't should help promote it as well. IGBOPROMISE1:Look at difference in quality between this conference center and ICC built by state government. All the more reason why state governments should always put projects up for competitive bidding and award. Acropolis has well organized parking, attractive facade now compare with ICC Awka. |

My advice to the igbos especially Anambra folks, be careful with politics. It's a dirty game. It's for the pigs and snakes. You are neither of the two. The only way they can defeat you is to get you dirty. Be on the right path and don't deviate from it, and things will be sorted out for you. You don't need to struggle for it. It will just work out as long as you on the right path. |

| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Eboofa: 10:08am On May 10, 2025 |
abuzz33:The ANSG media guys will chop your tail, o! I complained about the lack of tree planting in the government house the last time, and I was assured it would be done. It was scantily done, and the grass seeding was never carried out in a detailed manner, but they will learn with time and criticism! Shey na dem go live there? staring at patchy and red mud lawns everywhere! Who doesn't like better thing? Even the much hyped Enugu ICC that hosted an IT summit almost suffocated the guests 2 days ago.........the cooling system failed spectacularly! The proper design and competent construction of mega projects is still a problem for our states. Too many pot-bellied politicians with emergency companies will not allow these governors to do the right thing! |

You people like complaining. Government house has so many trees and grass planted, it needs time to grow because it’s a new project Eboofa: |

I HAVE NOT SEEN A MAN THAT IS BOTH INTELLIGENT AND STUPID AT THE SAME TIME LIKE SOLUDO. Y CANT HE JUST FOCUS HIS WORK AND STAY OUT OF APC PROB;EMS? I'M STARTING TO SUSPECT WE HAVE AN APC GOVERNOR IN ANAMBRA. FIRST IT WAS THE NNAMDI KANU COMMENT AND NOW PETER OBI. Y THE UNWARRANTED CONTROVERSY AND ATTRACTING HATRED TO YOURSELF. BOTH MEN HAVE MASSIVE FOLLOWERSHIP AND THOSE PEOPLE WILL CERTAINLY COME FOR YOUR HEAD. EVER SINCE HE TOOK OFFICE, WE HAVE BEEN HOLDING HIM LIKE A CHILD. TUFIAKWA! |
