I Thought A Scammer A Huge Lesson by Oviums(op): 2:43pm On May 11, 2025
Good afternoon everyone.

So yesterday I was a bit broke, needed money do bad. Scrolling through my Facebook I saw one post made by a betting punter that he needed a WhatsApp number for sale. I was tempted by the offer since I have a spare line that I am not using at the moment.
I contacted him and we started negotiating. Guy offered to pay 3k, omo I told him 5k. We later settled for 4k.

Going through his profile, I saw that he has 20k followers so I was comfortable doing such transaction with him not minding the risk.
Funny thing was that he used a female profile name Vivian Okoni. I actually thought I was dealing with a female.

Fast forward I trusted him by sending the code to him and then he logged in. First thing that gave me worries was the profile picture he uploaded, which could be considered very naughty.

After he successfully logged in , this guy refused to respond, I asked him to send my money omo he didn't answer. He later casually answered if I wanted games. I was so mad with such a casual response. It was now looking like he wanted to play a smart one one me.

These days it is so hard to conclude a business deal with strangers online. He just kept mute.

I later messaged him on the WhatsApp threatening to ruin him up. Omo this guy wasn't moved, he just told me congratulations. Lol. I was mad. 4k I thought I would use to guild for the weekend, I just go loos gaurd to some scammer.

I used several of my phone to message him threatening him that I was going to bring down his Facebook page, the next thing I would notice is he had blocked me.

Frustrated, I entered his Facebook page named Vivian okoni, I started dropping negative reviews on the comments session telling his followers to be careful of him that he cheated me out of a business deal. I noticed I got some likes on my comment.
Lo and behold. The guy sent me a voice note on WhatsApp telling me that God will purnish me, that he would put me in his prayer points. He was just ranting . That was when I found out he was a man, masquerading as a female on Facebook.

He said he was busy that was why he hadn't send the money, but that I have done my worse by bringing down his Facebook page.

I went back to the page to confirm, I found out that the account has been closed. I laughed. What a marvellous God.

He continued bashing me on WhatsApp, while I was just relaxed acting like the bad guy.

He then started begging me to return his Facebook back and that he would pay the money.

I simply told him if I don't get the money, he should kiss his Facebook goodbye.

The next thing I saw was the alert of 4k. Can you imagine this guy. So all these while he was just playing smart.

After then I told him to chill that I will work on getting his Facebook back but I know that is not possible. He has be begging me that he will lose 800k if he doesn't get the account back.

Well this is a case of penny wise pound foolish.
People are really very heartless, you want to cheat me just because of 4k, and now you have lost an account of over 20k followers.

Dear scammers, defrauding someone is worthless. You will pay dearly for it one way or the other.

Nice one. It's unfortunate that fraud is major occupation of most nigerian youths. They have destroyed our image overseas and back home they are not doing any better.

May God deliver us from these fraudsters.

How did you bring his page down

I think scamming is a type of mental illness no one talks about. He had the money to pay, but preferred to cheat because it made him feel good. Ask him to pay more money if he wants good reviews on his page. As soon as he pays, block the bastard.

It's deep rooted in our system. He showed me his balance on his betting app to prove to me money wasn't the problem. So why try cheating on me.

I stated it on my post. I went to his comment session on his previous post and gave him so much negative reviews. But I don't think mine alone was enough to pull down his page.

Do not help him to defraud more people,
Don't block him , keep playing ur own games, when he is tired he will go look for a job,
Do not help him get any Facebook page back,
And u think a person like that will not kill u if u had business worth millions with him?
Do all u can to get more money from him and block him finally

Was the betting page sporty? If yes, he scammed you before he scammed you.
