That's the difference between those two tribes. Yorubas are always very sensibly flexible while the Igbos are extremely blindly blunt in whatever they do or whoever they support.

Remember the time of the 1st Republic.....Igbos were running after NPN despite the fact that NPN has majority Northern politicians. It's so unbelievable that these same Igbos were the same set of people that just went through a civil war which was mostly a northern agenda against Igbos civil war, though vice versa but they follow NPN and supported in installing Shehu Shagari as the President even after witnessing and even enjoying free education that UPN implemented and some of them living in the Western States or Midwestern States were enjoying.

It's a very deliberate anti-west attitudes even when all evidence points to the fact that you are on the wrong or rather, you have taken a wrong decision . But they would still stick their head and die inside. Whereas the Yorubas, wouldn't mind castigating and be the whistleblower to announce their own brothers, family bad behavior if discovered. Can you remember how Obasanjo jailed Bode George?

Yorubas hardly take nonsense from anybody especially their own people....if you want to make a corrupt deal, better look for an Igbo person to assist and support you rather than a Yoruba person cos you will be left standing alone.....

You can imagine, Falana fighting anything Tinubu today, how about Late Pa Adesanya, Dele Farotimi, Sowore criticizing Tinubu, Adeyanju, large populace of Yorubas are discrediting Tinubu regime terribly etc.....

Even during the election, most Yorubas campaigned against Tinubu. Most even voted against him....
