Pandemonium broke out at an Access Bank branch when an enraged customer stormed the banking hall and vandalized several properties, claiming the bank had debited him N1.2 million multiple times without resolving his complaint.

According to eyewitnesses, the man walked into the bank around midday, visibly agitated. Moments later, chaos erupted as he began smashing furniture, scattering equipment, and shouting at staff. Customers and bank workers scampered for safety as the man went on a rampage, accusing the bank of ignoring his repeated complaints.

"He said the bank debited him N1.2 million, not once, and that he had visited the branch several times to report the issue but was always dismissed or told to come back later," a witness recounted.

The branch manager and staff quickly evacuated the banking hall while security personnel attempted to calm the situation. Videos of the incident have since gone viral on social media, drawing mixed reactions from the public.

They go use court cases weigh am down he go even end up paying damages, they're better ways to address your grievance, I thought his aim is to recover his money, now he will loose the money they debited because he decided to exhibit this behaviour and vandalize stuff.

All Nigeria commercial banks sucks except Opay.

I never had issues with Opay since over four years now. I have diverted all my funds to Opay.

As annoying as this is, he needed not to have resorted to this as the bank can sue him.
He should just have sued the stupid bankd and give them a good publicity through FIJ news.

He also has right to charge them for damages and liability caused by inability to access his funds. He could argue he missed several business opportunities simply because he couldn't access his funds that was stolen by the bank
