Job Title: Farm Manager
Salary: #150,000 with Accomodation and other benefits.
Location: Epe, Lagos

The Farm Manager's responsibilities of managing an agricultural operation, encompassing tasks like crop production, livestock management, and financial oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

•Production Management:
Overseeing crop production, including planting, harvesting, and quality control.
Managing livestock, ensuring their well-being and productivity.
Implementing sustainable farming practices and optimizing resource use.

•Financial Management:
Budgeting, managing farm expenses, and monitoring financial performance.
Assessing market trends and optimizing pricing strategies.

•Staff Management:
Recruiting, training, and supervising farm staff, including mechanics, laborers, and others.
Providing leadership, motivation, and support to the team.

•Planning and Organization:
Developing farm plans, scheduling activities, and optimizing workflows.
Maintaining records and reporting on farm operations.

•Equipment and Infrastructure:
Ensuring the maintenance and repair of farm buildings, machinery, and equipment.
Managing inventory of supplies and resources.

•Problem Solving and Decision Making:
Addressing challenges, identifying solutions, and making informed decisions.
Adapting to changing weather conditions and market conditions.

•Compliance and Safety:
Ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and industry standards.
Prioritizing safety on the farm and implementing safety protocols.

Qualification:
Bsc/HND in any Discipline.
2-3 years experience on the farm or as a Farm Manager.
Understanding Farm Unions is an added advantage.
