If democracy was thriving and doing right, there would have been no basis or room for military rule.

All the military regimes in Nigeria stemmed from the failure of democratic rulers to be patriotic and incorruptible.

Look at Nigeria after 26 years of Democracy... Citizens are poorer, less secure, and every sector still struggling.

Not a supporter of Dictatorship, just pointing out how an unjust and corrupt system that favors a select few will always lay the grounds for civil crisis and anarchy, which will most assuredly lead to Military takeover.
