PDPs presidential ticket was to be zoned to the South, specifically to the Southeast but Wike using his influence on the chairman of the zoning committee, his ally then Gov. Urtom to open the contest to all regions thinking he will emerge as PDPs candidate.


After the primaries, Atiku visited Wike in his residence to mend fences but instead wike choose to work against the party simply because he lost out in a contest where Atiku beat him to his game of money politics

Exactly what happened. You are so correct. I remembered telling people around me then that PDP has become too contented for a Wike to become the party father figure then.
Atiku was no where to be found. All those northerners were thought they were smart by collecting his money and think with their unity and numbers they can brush him aside and made a fool of him. All of them are now shocked by his political sagacity.
Wike is a good match for them. Let him give it to them massively. Southerners are not fools

Yes, the South needs people like Wike to make the North realize that there are no fools in the South.
The North don't have anything to contribute to the welfare and well being of the South and so they should drop all their threats if they truly want diplomacy.

Wike will not accept that offer at this point in time, because it will be a good opportunity for the North, the East and his enemies in the South to give him a payback.
So he won't take that fall.
In politics, it's wise to know when it's your time and then you make good use of the opportunity.

There's no Southerner that can defeat PBAT as it is now. No form of propaganda will even work against him.

May God continue to increase your wisdom. I am always elated with this kind of critical thinking, devoid of deceat and ignoble emotions. The fact that many people still listen to the man and take his words hook, line and sinker remains baffling and negates any iota of commonsense.

If many Nigerians can think rationally the way you have done, questionable, double-mouthed and deceitful characters will cease to have field days in Nigerian politics and its rulersship.

..ok the north want to do 8 years...2027 to 2035 .. which it will make it 18years for north and south.. equally..but for me I do not care about this regional government..or turn by turn government.. what I want is a good and competent president that will address and tackle poverty, hunger, hardship, inflation, high costs of living high rate of unemployment Nigerians are going through, whether it's a northerner or southerner that can do it...I am not satisfied with Tinubu government he has put Nigerians in poverty, hunger, hardship inflation, high costs of living and providing bad governance..if there is any competent presidential candidate than can address and tackle all this problems Nigerians are going through..I will support such person from any region or tribe, the person come from in Nigeria.. that is what Nigerians should be looking at.,all this regional government and turn by turn give has not addressed and tackled the issues and problems Nigerians have been going through and not made the economy and country any better
