I don’t see his transfer fee being a problem—especially if the rumour is true that he actually wants to leave. I mean, we paid £100m for Enzo and £75m for Mudryk, both rubbish players. Even the individual fees—or the combined money—we’ve spent on bums like Madueke, Sterling, and Neto could’ve gone towards a proper winger. I believe Boehly and his gangs can get it done if they really want to.

Lampard try sha but his team plays similar to how Kompany's Burnley played. They're trying to keep the ball more, high press, passing from the back and attractive football all round.

With what happened today, I feel it's a blessing in disguise that they didn't qualify. You can see what they're trying to do but the quality of the players won't work in the EPL. Similar thing happened with Russel Martin's Southampton.

Sunderland looked more like a premier league side. They looked more rugged and ready to be pragmatic when needed.

With all that said, credit to Lampard and Coventry but like Kompany, I think he would've relegated them.
