is this crocheted slippers worth 250k

is it worth it because it is packaged in a box?

The thing is i have seen this type of design before. it is not something unique.

just looking at it in terms of craftmanship, i don't think it is up there, the material is not high end

but is it worth 250k, no

is it worth 2500, no

it takes time to create something like this to be worth 2500

Thats 8 colors there...wool now is sold like 1500 per yarn,add the craft-womanship,#2500 is a good price.
I like to think she made a mistake adding more than 2 zeros.

People spend money on whatever they can afford, wise people spend money on things that have value for their money meaning they last longer and won't require constant repairs or a need to throw them away soon. I'll be a fool to spend such amount on this sort of slippers for my wife when I know very well that I can get something of way better quality and pedigree for her. I'm not throwing my money down a gutter to support someone's business even if she's my sister but you're free to do as you wish

reason is this

the wool is not a high end wool.

the design and colour is not unique, i have seen lot of designs like that, it is easy to replicate.

so a 250k is not worth it

Oh okay 👌 250k is carton price for wholeseller One single pair is N2.5k I see this type of slippers here in Aba regularly, the color pattern only changes and the sole has different materials too.

All of you that go on Twitter to buy things dey try, so even common slippas you will wear on your leg you can't make out time to go to market and try/buy, it's online you will order it and still pay for delivery Imagine . . . a whole 250k for this backyard slippers because of Twitter shopping
