Lucifer 2: 8.5/10.
Love the action sequences that were shot in Senegal and guinea. Those Senegalese delivered their roles perfectly.

G20: 7/10. Love the SA theme.

This is the second time A24 is setting me for disappointed where the trailer is better than the movie. They did the same thing in Civil War, it just leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

Other genre of their movies, I can see, but anything concerning war isn't ther Forte.

Even it is from memory, at least dramatize it for movie watchers. The only 'good thing' was the ASMR thing after that explosion, you almost felt you were there if you watched it using headphones. Asides that, ass.

After years of patience, I get to see this film. First of all, I never expected Emma stone character to die cos she didn't land on the ground. I love the way electro could disintegrate with his new found power. It reminded me of darkseid when he is on move. He doesn't need transportation to find spiderman AKA the web slinger as he is fondly called

That film dey struggle to beat off SINNERS wey be 4 weeks old for US box office. I don't know how much Final Destination: Bloodlines will affect it this weekend because it's R rated but by next week it's momentum is cutting off with Lilo and Stitch & MI: The Final Reckoning releasing in theatres.

I've always had my doubts about this movie especially with the astronomical $250mn -300mn budget, but this movie really do look darn good.
This trailer made me a believer of it's box office hopes. I'm seeing something around $500mn-650mn if it does well. If people really lap it up especially with the Top Gun: Maverick director — Joseph Kosinski's name attached, it might really outperform.
Fingers crossed how this does, but this looks to be Apple TV+ first theatrical release HIT.

I don finally watch this movie after many years and it was a good 2hrs without fast forward and I almost forgot about the great cast, Florence Pugh, Timothée, Emma Watson, the main female lead and other actors all did well

I've also heard unfavorable reviews from early screeners whom I trust personally, they said it ain't bad but it ain't great as a goodbye either as ghost protocol is far better in comparison. No wonder baba dey work overtime to get his name on everyone's lips with the fake PR relationship with De Armas, in return De Armas also gets to promote ballerina coming out next month, it's a win-win for both
