How can I report access bank to CBN? Every month deduction of card maintenance and MSG alert

Funniest part I don't have their card 🫡🫡
The deduction of those abroad will be x10. You think the government doesn't know what they are out to get from this?

When the results of this commonsense but not common policies start manifesting, you will wail propaganda uncontrollably. It's pathetic.

Come and carry me to abroad oo.

I'm in Nigeria, but I thought Diasporans doesn't give a damn about NL😂

Until today which prove me wrong
Nairaland was the major source of news and entertainment to a lot of diasporans and locals back in the day. Even though the quality of engagement has dropped, there is still a lot to gain here. I for one won't be leaving anytime soon

I am in deep shock to see most NLs playing to the game, they all lived abroad and that's very interesting.
Most of those guys that first commented are probably in the same room commenting positively one after the other, or they may be accounts under the control of just one or two people

na today ? with the nonsense that happened at Oceanic Bank under Ibru and recently in GTBank with customer deposits disappearing

without explanation - and D so-called EFCC and Attorney General is keeping quiet, not making bold statements to allay the fears of customers

setting up investigations -- is a recipe for disaster - who get time and power to drag money with government ponzi - schemers in Nigeria ?

When we criticize the Judiciary for being in the pocket of the APC - you people here call us wailers

How can I be confident that IF an APC stalwart pulls a ponzi on my hard earned $$$ in Nigeria - that the Wike-Judiciary will give me Justice? grin

Although this is a good development, it is quite late now, as there are now a lot of Fintechs working in this space. Have apps like Lemonade/Lemfi that allows you to maintain a Naira balance and I'm sure others at there, who needs to have a traditional naira account if they're not in Nigeria?
Re: The CBN Just Removed These 7 Banking Barriers For Nigerians Abroad by Immatex(m): 11:16am On May 14, 2025
Can’t make me save money in Naira - a proven unstable currency.

Many apps exist that has helped render all my Nigeria bank accounts useless and dormant.

This initiative won’t make me reactivate my dormant accounts!

Last time I checked Access Bank and GTB have been doing diaspora banking for almost a decade now.

Honestly.. None of them has an International Passport.

There's nothing new in all those things they mentioned.

Access/GTB and other banks have been doing all these for years.

God bless Tinubu and his team.
In addition government should allow people to bring into the country personal property, duty free. Emphasis on personal property. No more than 2 vehicles for personal use, not commercial.
That will help a lot.

My honest opinion about this? Too much talk, very little substance. There are too many fintech apps that already provide money transfer services with zero transfer fees. Banks already offer diaspora banking services for like ages now. Nothing new here, more of a smoke screen to create the impression of a novel achievement.
Re: The CBN Just Removed These 7 Banking Barriers For Nigerians Abroad by gulfer: 1:48pm On May 14, 2025
All I see is a trap for diaspora funds shocked shocked shocked
Better to continue using the likes of Lemfi, Simless other fintechs etc to get funds to the needy back home because this CBN is just as reliable as PHCN undecided undecided

Exactly.
What they should be working on is how to link international credit scores to Nigeria so that Nigerian banks can base on that to give loans, credit, and credit cards. They'd be reporting to credit bureaus so that if you default or pay late it'll be reported to credit bureaus and it will affect your credit.
That's where the real money is

.

I surprised to see people hailing this move as innovative. People are transacting with banks from all over the world. This government and their gimmicks.
