..abi.. instead of the governor to rehabilitate, upgrade the university facilities, lecture class rooms and infrastructures..build more hostels and a conducive environment for students and lecturers

I'm not talking about being person's name, I'm concerned with renaming of Universities. Many students have graduated with a particular University name and it's popular and well known, one idiot governor will now come to change it to dog name just because of politics.

Exactly. Kwara State University had been renamed Olusola Saraki University for about a decade now. But the students and institution still actively use KWARA STATE UNIVERSITY.

The cost and labour that goes into rebranding is humongous. Plus not everyone would be comfortable with such move.

Of all the tragedies going on in the state, should this the priority of that failing governor?

Hard working farmers and citizens are being murdered regularly, the whole infrastructure is in a state of disrepair, insecurity is at all-time high and the state can hardly boast of any reasonable industry.

Can you really fathom the systemic consequences of those killing to Nigeria's food security? Father Alia is turning out worse than we all thought.
