G0odharddick:If they leave this exam for schools to run, it will be the normal Nigerian thing that you guys crave for I wrote my Post UTME without paging a dime and the process was perfectly very fair. In contrast, my mates in some places wrote theirs paying and faced all sorts or shortchanging. You all know the generation of learners and teachers are 5 and 6 in laziness and malpractices Let the sleeping dog lie abeg |

GindoX:His position is administrative.. He doesn't technically need to be a computer scientist..a computer scientist can head that agency and there can still be glitches ... this is where you are wrong.. After all, JAMB has been running CBT for many years under his control and there were no glitches until now |

The bigot is blaming Allah for the glitch. |
| Re: JAMB Approves Re-Sit For 379,997 Candidates by Eriokanmi: 7:31pm On May 14, 2025 |
G0odharddick:Exactly. When they didn't mention the type of error they committed in the earlier release, I knew it would be on a selected cbts with tech glitches and not about overall failure recorded. Jamb results reflected the true performance of candidates only that, they've not told us of they changed their marking scheme or not. Because before and after I wrote jamb in 1993, our teachers and coaching centre tutors always warned us of dangers of answering questions we were not sure of. Instead of attempting them, we should just leave them out otherwise, any questions we got wrongly would be deducted from the ones we already answered correctly. This method of marking was later reviewed and removed. How you wan score 300 in the 90s for UME as was called back then? You wan steal.am ni? |

I think jamb is trying to be clever by half. They must produce the answer script of those students. This has exposed that jamb under oluyode is a fraud. |

Eriokanmi:How do you explain a situation where no student scored up to 200 in a school. Not just any school, but university secondary school? I think they really need to investigate what went down, and why only a specific region was affected more than other regions. It is ridiculous honestly. |

If glitches made some fail. What is the probability that those announced as passed actually passed. Abi glitch no dey increase scores too? |
| Re: JAMB Approves Re-Sit For 379,997 Candidates by GindoX(m): 7:44pm On May 14, 2025 |
Opebiman:You don't understand my point. When you're appointed head, it means you know little of other positions you are placed over. Simulation isn't just for play... Before real examinations, there should have been multiple simulations, to detect and tackle glitches like this. See bro, there are certain areas where errors are not allowed, no matter what. Take for example. Server failure. They should have multiple servers with a quick switching techniques. Is disgracing tell the masses because there's server failure, that's why students were unable to log in. Until those in key positions are be held responsible, Dem no go sit up to their responsibilities. A system is running for years doesn't mean we should expect break down or glitch and feel okay with it, that is norm. Offcourse, there might be specific duration a certain system can run. Is now mandatory to put another system to takeover even before due date, such that the masses wouldn't even notice it or know about it. That's what is called systems. |

InfoGuru118:You can imagine the excuse of an institution called JAMB, "man proposes, God disposes"...a simply way of not owing to their responsibility, religious bvllsh!t. It is a religious society that can produce irresponsible institution like this in Nigeria. What a mess. I can remember how some morons were abusing the students up and down forgetting they are living in a contraption called Nigeria. Tueh! |

Funny thing is that some will still score less than 200. They are blaming jamb, for a failed society like ours this is the only public institution that operates with complete transparency. Anyone who is not satisfied with the current leadership should stop writing the exams all together. |

Even if they resit the exam one hundred times, some would still fail woefully. No be juju be that? |
| Re: JAMB Approves Re-Sit For 379,997 Candidates by Show101: 8:46pm On May 14, 2025 |
InfoGuru118:Lots of questions begging for an answer. How long has this so called technical glitch been happening unnoticed/without knowing while we keep blaming the wards for poor performances? Who is responsible for the negligence? Why was it so pronounced/particular/peculiar in one region of the country? Was it deliberate or accidental? What has jamb been using all the revenues it generates for year in year out? What's going to be the financial compensations for the affected, mentally disoriented candidates? Then a 10 years comprehensive review of the entire system should be done. |

| Re: JAMB Approves Re-Sit For 379,997 Candidates by Eriokanmi: 9:08pm On May 14, 2025 |
dettolgel:I think the poor performance is across board, not peculiar to a particular region, if I'm not mistaken. If that's the case, they can also consider what's called the catchment areas in favour of the affected region. The north used to be backward in education...and they're still backward. The catchment areas used to favour them the most. Jamb knows what to do to address the mass failure. It's ridiculous. |

I said it earlier they are doing everything possible to underscore the Igbos especially Anambra because of Peter Obi and the state have been the ones leading top scorer for years. The hatred for ndi Igbo will burn zoo one day. And the hatred is why we are not developing, they rather die than allow the Igbos to benefit anything others will benefit. Zoo
