Civil service is the bedrock of corruption, there are people who Jappa-ed from Rivers state civil service after Nyesom wike conducted biometric verification in 2019. More than 5 years they are still receiving salaries |

They don't believe in any shitty renew hope god-knows-what. They don't even have any confidence in the Lagos Tinubu claimed he built. The civil service is the bedrock of the worst institutional corruption in any government. |

Racoon:I hope you know its a loss and its unsustainable for the Govt to keep sending people there for specialized trainings, if the early sets arent returning This shows that you guys really dont love the country. If you ever have to defend vices or any unethical thing for whatever reason, you would do worse than most politicians. Thats hypocritical |

This is the reason why the world will never respect Nigeria and Nigerians. If you want to earn some respect, make your host believe that you are missing your home, not looking for means to escape it. The same way Yorubas insult Igbos on Nairaland for coming to Lagos to hustle, it is the same way the rest of world insults Nigerians when we refuse to return to our home country after our studies or training abroad. If you see agbadorians hail Tinubu's Lagos here, you would think it's heaven on earth. Meanwhile, Lagos State staffers are looking for means to escape from it 😀😀😀😀 |

EvilMerodack:I think a 30% loss on capital is better than a 100% loss of capital by sending people to hajj Of course the 30% absconding should be condemned, but have you asked why? If you were a U.S citizen posted to Lagos, would you want to overstay in Lagos or just make your money and go back to U.S? I am a firm believer in never overstaying one's visa though. You have to be a responsible migrant! |

EvilMerodack:It's not a loss. It's an investment into the civil service of Lagos State. After all, politicians steal and we don't complain. An investment into the life of a civil servant cannot be called a loss. They should invest in their Japa dream. When those civil servants settle in those foreign countries, they will start sending money home and add to over $20 billion that we receive in foreign remittances. They will also pay black tax, thereby eliminating hunger in their families, reducing crime rates and curtailing the pressure on the government to create jobs. |

It's actually very bad. Government would invest millions of naira on training and beneficiaries would undermine it, betray the system and not return to give back. Later when government refuse to sponsor people for training, una go dey complain... |
