Haisic 1.5kva inverter plus their 12v 280ah battery is about 650k. No idea if the remaining will cover installation. relaxfun: |

HeavenlyBang:any company selling cheaper than them per watt? |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by HeavenlyBang(m): 5:13pm On May 15, 2025 |
swagifted:I've seen identical per watt prices for Canadian and Trina panels. The problem, as always, is being certain of authenticity. |

HeavenlyBang:the identical prices you saw did they come with free delivery of any sort? |

Experts in the house, please are you familiar with Growatt 48V inverters and do they support higher voltage batteries (51.2V)? I am looking at the datasheet of a Growatt inverter - Growatt Inverter - 6kVA 48V (SPF 6000 ES Plus), and it doesn't say anything about support for higher voltage battery and ChatGPT is advising me to stick to a 48V battery. Thanks. Inverter datasheet here - https://sygniteng.com/home/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/Growatt-SPF-6000-ES-Plus-Datasheet.pdf |

Mavor:If I may ask, What exactly do you need? Just list them out: 1, 2, 3....etc |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by HeavenlyBang(m): 5:42pm On May 15, 2025 |
Mavor:48v is just a nominal value. In reality, "48v" batteries operate between 48v to 57v or so. So yes, 51.2v is fine. |

KudozInteriors:I have told you what to do very fast, you have not done it. Okay o, don't waste your time with capacity test. The guy should have slept like 10 days in police cell already. I will be frank with you, hope you are not the Alaroro type of person, cos na people like this technician (he is not an installer) dey show pepper. No vex o |

KudozInteriors:The performance data is really abysmal but the battery at 25.4V is far from 0%, that's about 16% left. Personally I would've preferred you opened the battery yourself except the warranty sticker has not been broken. So you can see whatever concoction that is inside or you even take it to Sako themselves to open. Thereafter make sure those culpable are held to book. |

KudozInteriors:Chief, on a closer look at this issue. I know it may have died down but It seems that the SAKO people are also accomplices as well. Why? Because you said you took it to them to help you check the battery and they did after about some days, but they told you that nothing was wrong with the battery (this is what you said). Meaning that they taunted and hounded your intelligence as well. Seriously, I’m not in any way asking you to cause trouble but these people (your PRO and SAKO people) are evil. I will leave you to decide for yourself what to do about this issue if you have all the evidence. Modified: This was your comment below: “Now, here’s the issue. The battery was running down fast with just my standing fan of 70watts and charging of phones. It would go from full charge to less than 50% by morning even though I started the system around 10pm. I had to send it back. The factory tested it for 2 weeks and said the battery was good but that we have been charging it wrongly. They told the man (my installer) how to set the inverter to charge it well. I think they said it should charge at 15amps or so.” |

BigDickProblems:Not sure this is possible. The extra battery (which makes you refer to it as being upgradable) is mostly used as a backup to charge the main battery. You can't connect an extra battery to the main Ecoflow, increasing its capacity. If you want to increase the backup time, you need to buy another full Ecoflow system and connect both in such a way that one will charge another one, while you use the one that is being charged |
