Ellie saying she's going to be a daddy, in that context, clearly states she's going to be the child's daddy, simple and short.

So, the question now is: when do females, irrespective of whatever nonsense they identify with, start being daddies?

She saying she's being a father or however context she puts it doesn't make/stop Jesse from being the real father ..

Another scenario is a man marrying a woman with kids already and calling her children his children to make wifey feel wanted or loved..

Why is it so hard to see the humor in those words ..

Imagine this same man, telling the mother of those kids "he's going to be a mum to her kids". Imagine that.

Ellie could have said "she's going to be a mum" to the kid, right? Yet she didn't say it. She said she's going to be a dad. This is what you're missing. No matter the humour you want to attribute to what Ellie said, there's every shade of nonsense attached to that statement.

I watched the first episode of volume 4 the one with Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and I honestly couldn't place my head around why it was even made.
