Lol here in benin
I don't buy yam again
Sweet potatoes is what I buy
Sweet potatoes is more nutritious cooks faster and has high fiber that fills the belly that u don't feel hungry
Nothing dey yam
Sweet potatoes self get vitamin a for eyes
U don't need to add salt or sugar
It already has sugar inside it
Sweet potatoes of 10,000 naira lasts for 2 weeks plus
And they rarely spoil inside and last long compared to yam
Na sweet potatoes I dey chop now

I don't know where they're selling average sized yams for 9-10k, the ones I got about w weeks ago are 3 slender ones for 6k (2k each)

It's the time of the year when yams are scarce and expensive. By July/August, new yams will start becoming available. If you and some people can join money to buy yams from the abokis that sell in heaps in mile 12 market, it makes a lot of sense.

Your information is not complete, you mean how many tubers of normal size for 8-9k.
Though I'm not in any way trying to justify the devilish policies and actions of this wicked government.

And if you ask those illiterates supporting tinubu why things are so hard, they'd tell you Nigeria is now living it's real status , that Nigeria was operating fake and patch-patch economy in the past. But back then,we were rated largest economy in africa based in our gdp. Today, we're 4th in africa. They're so dumb
