You can get a new sim and re-register, there is a way around it actually

please, is the airtel network faster in the mtn universal mifi than the airtel router you bought? or its because of the battery that is not good again that you ditched it?

Because of the battery and portability. The mifi range is very small compared to the router but either way I prefer the mifi overall about 7-8hrs battery life straight

You would have just bought the airtel mifi instead , with the airtel mifi , I get at least 48 hours battery life, no cap

Make sense, as long as the battery life is great I don't have issues and this one is working well so far

Airtel unlimited is still going do not panic, there is a server upgrade. If you are using the Router it will go but if you are using the mifi it wont go till further notice. I'm using it to post this comment right now

it’s going on mifi when you change the imei, I change my imei and am still using it on my mifi

How do you change the imei, if you can drop the procedure it can help one or two people here in the community

I doubt if one can change the imei of a device, maybe when one roots the device anyway. But I think that's illegal

Bro good morning. I saw this 4G router smart box on Airtel eshop..is it okay to buy it from there? It's around 31k plus waybill fee. I tried getting it offline but the price they said is 50k. Can you confirm if it's still at 25k from Airtel office? I don't want a situation I'll buy it from their online store and stories will merge with the one month free sub. I don't know if the SIM even comes pre registered.

Please go to Airtel office instead, when you get there ask them that you want to get airtel router and insist on the one with unlimited package. That I can guarantee you that it will come with a month unlimited sim added to it because you'll do registration there. Eshop I can't say per say but the price cannot be 25k again the current subscription for unlimited is now 30k alone.

i belive those people that hack mifi and change it to universal can do it but note it is only for some selected mifi not all
